Dawn Bower

Dawn Bower was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She is the oldest of two siblings: a sister and a brother. She attended Creighton University, where she earned a BS in Education. After serving two years with AmeriCorps*NCCC's Denver Campus. she taught at Denver Academy, a school for kids and teens with Learning Differences. Dawn studied acting and improvisation in Denver at the following schools: DS StudioWorks, Denver Center for Performing Arts, The Bovine Metropolis Theater and School of Improv, and Benjy Dobrin Studios. She was a member of Hitching Post Theater and the 11 Minutes Theater Company. She moved to Los Angeles in January 2014, to continue pursuing a career in acting, specifically comedy. She had her first stand-up performance in the summer of 2014 at the World Famous Comedy Store and has continued to grace audiences there with her humorous acts. She is a member of We Make Movies, in Hollywood, and has studied at the Groundlings. In addition to acting, she works with the Rootstock Foundation, a non-profit that puts aquaponics labs in the hands of students and teachers in the LA area.
