Kevin Richmond

Keven Talks with The Cast of One Last Sunset
Exclusive: The leading ladies of indie horror flick One Last Sunset recently had a chance to talk with the Blam! about the zombie apocalypse and what to expect from the down and dirty movie about survival in a world without hope. One Last Sunset, written and directed by Kevin Richmond (check out his exclusive interview with the Blam! here) is the story of two sisters, Bridgot ( Brandy Brown ) and Nita ( Alma Hill ) and their struggle to exist after an apocalyptic virus has turned the entire human population into flesh eating zombies. Whereas, it is a zombie film, it’s core strength lies within the characters and their mental, as well as, physical struggles required to survive this type of cataclysmic experience where attempting to maintain hope in a seemingly hopeless situation are worth...

Keven Talks With The Director of One Last Sunset
Exclusive: Kevin Richmond directed the zombie apocalypse tale of horror survival One Last Sunset and he recently spoke with The Blam! about his flick and what to expect from the independent film. One Last Sunset is about two sisters struggling to exist after an apocalyptic virus has turned the entire human population into flesh eating zombies. Richmond wrote and directed the film which is under his company Peepin Tom Productions Inc. Keven: What gave you the idea for One Last Sunset? Richmond: Essentially, One Last Sunset was born from an idea based on another idea. I was driving through the mountains of Nc, one summer day. I had just wrapped a horror / martial arts film, Vs and at that point, I was looking to do something different from horror. I was making several conference calls to...

Sisters fight off zombie infection in Kevin Richmond’s One Last Sunset
And they say zombies are currently out of fashion. Looking at the number of zombie movies made every year, I’d say whoever thinks that is out to lunch. What is harder to find is a zombie movie with a little something special. Kevin Richmond’s latest film may be such a one.

Written and directed by Richmond, One Last Sunset is the story of two sisters who are the last survivors of an “apocalyptic viral outbreak that turns people to flesh-eating monsters” (aka as zombies).

The teaser trailer doesn’t give much on the film’s plot but I was immediately taken by the opening image which I still can’t quite make out but something about it and the sound design has me interested. Is that the two sisters? Could be but one of them looks dead...I’m willing to find out.

Thanks to Avery for the heads up on this one.
