Before embarking on a journey, take into account some wise words from Alexander Carroll’s character Travis in “Exodus”: “Know that you’ll get there, beautiful things will happen along the way, and everything is going to be okay.”

“Exodus Fall” includes everything a great movie should, without being obvious, cliché or obnoxious. Set in the ’70s in a small Texan town, the film centers on three siblings trying to cope with the loss of their father and their mother’s resulting breakdown. Kenneth (Jesse James), Charlotte (Adrien Finkel) and Dana (Devon Graye) are three teens who weasel into your heart immediately with their wholesome, genuine kindness and full personalities.
