Indie Thriller No Sin Unpunished Brings One Character Back from the Grave this January 21st
No Sin Unpunished is a horror film from director Matt Green (Vicious). Slated for a January release on DVD, this title involves a murder and one woman's attempt to find her killer, from beyond the grave. Monarch Home Entertainment will handle the film's release on DVD. And, this horror release stars: Jonathan Horne (Your Worst Nightmare), Amber Erwin (The Gifted), Krissy Notes, Ron Prather and Alonzo Ward. A preview of the film's home entertainment release is hosted here. Very much an indie horror title, the early promotional materials focus on Taryn (Erwin). Stalked by a mysterious figure, Taryn is confronted in the night. After her death, Taryn is able to contact a clairvoyant, named Hero (Horne). Now, Taryn has one last chance to turn the tables on her own killer. No Sin Unpunished will debut on January 21st. On this date, the film will be available on DVD. This is an unrated DVD release.

Inside The Gifted's Visual Effects: Which Powers Crush the Budget?
Matt Nix
For The Gifted‘s Season 2 finale, you may recall show boss Matt Nix telling TVLine that he penned an episode so big, “Production was basically like, ‘This is impossible. But among all the whiz-bang visual effects on display in any given episode of the Fox/Marvel drama, we had to wonder: Which come with the biggest price tag?...

The Final Project Review
Forty-five.

Forty-five minutes.

It took Forty-five Freaking Minutes for The Final Project to even Attempt competent horror spooks, 99% of which ultimately end up being face-planting failures. Guess how long it took for the first shaky Go-Pro death? Fifty-five minutes. And for the first jump scare? Over. An. Hour. You’ve got an hour-and-twenty-minutes worth of film to watch, yet nothing “endearing” happens until minute forty-five. Are you sensing my frustration? The Final Project is the film school assignment from your worst indie horror nightmares, ripping-off every major player along the way. Anyone can make a found footage movie – but that doesn’t mean you should.

Taylor Ri’chard’s film follows six college students as they spend a night instigating ghouls at the Lafitte Plantation, a large estate nestled deep in Vacherie, Louisiana’s marshy backwoods. The damned location boasts a history of Civil War bloodshed, and many believers claim...
