Jim Osborne has been named head of talent at Apa.

Apa executive Barry McPherson will continue to lead the agency’s New York talent department. Ryan Martin, who has served as Apa’s co-head of talent since June 2018 and previously lead the department since 2006, will exit the agency when his contract expires at the end of the year.

“Jim Osborne’s devotion to the success of our clients and this company cannot be understated,” James Gosnell, president and CEO of Apa, said in a statement. “His extraordinary work and dedication over the past seven years have played a pivotal role in the success of our talent department, and I’m very proud to have him lead our team into the future.”

Blige (Mudbound) who stars in the upcoming Netflix/Ucp series Umbrella Academy and the Paramount feature Body Cam, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson (Power) who recently closed a groundbreaking overall/production deal with Starz, MacGyver star Lucas Till, rapper-actor T.I. who co-stars in the upcoming Netflix feature Dolomite Is My Name, Tyrese Gibson (Fast & Furious franchise), and Cole Hauser (Yellowstone).

Apa has promoted Varun Bhargava, John Nahai, and Kris Heller to agents in the Talent Department. All three were agent trainees in Apa’s Agent Training Program.

Their positions are effective immediately, it was jointly announced today by partners and talent department co-heads, Ryan Martin and Jim Osborne, to whom they all report.

Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Bhargava is a graduate of Arizona State University, where he earned a degree in economics. He began his career at Apa, joining the agency in 2015 as an executive assistant to talent agent Sheva Cohen, where he worked with clients such as Tiffany Haddish, Alyson Hannigan, Adeline Rudolph and Jessica Green.

Los Angeles native Nahai is a graduate of Boston University, where he graduated with a degree in political science. Shortly after his return to La following graduation, Nahai joined Apa in 2015, where he worked as an executive assistant for both Jim...

Street Outlaws have beaten Fast N’ Loud in their 2018 ‘Mega Race 2’ rematch for a $75,000 pot — winning two out of three races with no need for a third. The contest took place at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Az, with Ryan Martin representing the 405 crew in his 2010 ‘Fireball’ Camaro SS and Alex Laughlin representing Gas Monkey Garage in the same 2017 Challenger his team used last year.
