First Details on Utero: “Writer/Director Bryan Coyne’s (Harvard Park and Incarnate) new film Utero started production this week in Los Angeles.

Independently financed by Coinopflix, the movie stars Jessica Cameron who is also producing along with her Truth or Dare partner, Jonathan Higgins. Former Platinum Studios Exec (Cowboys and Aliens, Dylan Dog: Dead Of Night) Richard Marincic also serves as a producer on the film.

Utero is about “an agoraphobic unwed mother who finds her psyche unraveling as she becomes convinced that her unborn child is more monster than human.”

Witchfinder Short Film Finds a Teaser Poster
Daredevil Films has released the first teaser poster for its upcoming short horror film Witchfinder, written and directed by Collin Clarke. We like its subtlety and hope it's a sign of good things to come.

Witchfinder, Clarke's first live action short, stars Dave Juehring (What They Say, Afraid of Sunrise) as William Thatcher Blake, witchfinder; Valerie Meachum (Cyrus: Mind of a Serial Killer, Rose White) as The Witch; Travis Worthey (Raven's Hollow) as John Hawthorne; and Chloe Konieczki as Mary Blake. The film is produced by Colin Clarke and Brent Jepsen; the production designer is Arianne Clarke; and the costumes are created by Alisha Tyler.

Synopsis:

In a small cabin in the woods... something evil is rising. A lovesick villager sets in motion a horrifying sequence of events when he seeks out a rural witch to cast a spell upon an unsuspecting village girl.

Synopsis

This October Take a Trip to Raven's Hollow
The Halloween season, as per usual, will no doubt be brimming with all manner of sights and sounds designed to scare the shit out of you. The Internet will be no different as we received word of a pretty badass looking short film from Daredevil Films called Raven's Hollow.

Directed by Colin Clarke and starring Gavin Phillips, Travis Worthey, and Stephanie Pax, look for the flick to debut online some time in October. Keep it here for more information soon!
