We first told you about the zombie slasher hybrid Zombified over two years ago. Since then... silence. Until now, that is, as we have gotten word that the flick is on its way to home video soon! Read on for details!

Zombiefied - The first slasher/zombie film crossover is coming to VOD June 19th and DVD June 26th from Celebrity Home Entertainment in California! A world-wide deal was signed with Celebrity Entertainment, and they will be releasing the film to millions of cable, satellite and telco operators as well as DVD in online stores such as Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, etc., and the DVD will also be available in retail outlets.

The newest zombie film to come along, Zombified, is currently seeking distribution through champion Entertainment. The film is directed by Todd Jason Cook and stars Rebecca Torellas, Mike Gebbie, Kathryn Rene Ginzel, Tayvis Dunnahoe, LisaWhiteman, Sabrina Cook, Joe Grisaffi, MeganHerrington, Alexia Roy, Carli Moser, Brad Roberson, and Joe Condoleo.

With a tagline like "Zombiefied - the first Slasher film & Zombie film cross-over!" I'll be checking it out for sure!

Here at Dread Central we love zombie movies and we love slasher flicks so when word broke about a movie that combines the two sub-genres, of course we became Super interested.
