A photo featured the five current members smiling, and the caption teased the upcoming season. "10 seasons. fab five. one last go 'round,'" the caption reads. "The final season of Queer Eye is officially in production!"

Longest-running Netflix reality show coming to an end after season 10

All great things have to come to an end, and that’s the case for Netflix’s first reality series. Queer Eye is wrapping things up, with the upcoming 10th season confirmed as the last.

Image
Netflix is winding down its longest-running unscripted series to date.

The streamer says that the upcoming 10th season of Queer Eye will be its last. Production on the now-final season began Wednesday in Washington, D.C.

Alan Cumming would be the 4th person to repeat in Best Reality Host: See fresh Emmy odds
Image
To date, Jeff Probst (Survivor), Jane Lynch (Hollywood Game Night), and RuPaul Charles (RuPaul's Drag Race) are the only people to win the Best Reality Host Emmy at least twice in a row. But a fourth contender could soon be joining their esteemed list.

Alan Cumming (The Traitors) is the clear frontrunner in Gold Derby's predictions to claim his second consecutive host trophy. He also won as a producer last year when The Traitors prevailed for Best Competition Program. Cumming plays a heightened version of himself on Peacock's reality TV show, someone who oozes camp and gets excited every time a murder takes place inside his luxurious Scottish castle. Could The Traitors exist in a world without Cumming? Yes. But it wouldn't be nearly as fun. In addition to his two Emmys, the performer is also a double Tony winner for Cabaret and A Strange Loop.

Next in line is RuPaul,...

From the Oscars Red Carpet to Open Heart Surgery: What Variety’s Marc Malkin Wants You to Know About His Life-Saving Journey
Image
I had just finished interviewing Ariana Grande on this year’s Oscars red carpet when someone from her team asked me, “Are you going to get away after all this, take a little vacation?”

I nodded my head and smiled.

The “all this” was awards season. In the past, I spent my post-Academy Awards days and nights getting much needed rest and relaxation after a seemingly endless cycle of red carpets, FYC panels and events and parties.

I did take time off again this year. But it wasn’t a vacation.

On March 19, I underwent open-heart surgery.

It all began three years ago when my brother, Kevin, my only sibling, died of a heart attack at age 54. He collapsed while shoveling snow for a neighbor. He was rushed to a hospital. He never woke up. It was during Covid, so my mother and I said goodbye to Kevin via a...

Jeremiah Brent on ‘coming home’ to ‘Queer Eye’: ‘I felt a huge amount of responsibility’
Image
"I keep saying to people, it feels like I've come home in a lot of ways," Jeremiah Brent tells Gold Derby about being the newest host of Queer Eye, joining fellow Fab Five members Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, and Tan France. "It's the culmination of everything that I've learned, and I get to do it alongside people that I love and admire, and I get to help people. So, it's been a really wild journey."

Brent reveals he was "originally" asked to do the reality TV show when Netflix "brought it back" in 2018; previously, it was called Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and aired between 2003 and 2007 on Bravo. "But at the time, my husband and I had just welcomed our first child, and she was just under a year old, and there was no world that I could imagine leaving and going off to shoot," he notes.

Here’s When ‘The View’ Returns After Easter
Image
“The View” is off this week, but not for too long. The ABC hosts are just getting an early hop on Easter.

Each season, the ladies have a few extended breaks built in, usually for the summer between seasons and for the winter holidays. While those are several weeks long, this brief spring hiatus will only extend through April 18. That said, you’ll still be able to spend the normal “View” hour with the hosts.

While there won’t be any new episodes, the typical 11 a.m. Et time slot will still feature reruns of “The View,” in case you missed any recently. You can find which episodes those will be below.

Monday, April 14: Kara Swisher; Donny Osmond (Las Vegas residency) — Originally aired 3/13/25

Tuesday, April 15: Mindy Kaling; performance from the women of Disney on Broadway in honor of Women’s History Month — Originally aired 3/6/25

Wednesday, April 16: Stephen A. Smith...
