Survive the Game Trailer Throws Bruce Willis Into a Drug-Drenched Crime Thriller
Image
The new trailer for the Survive the Game just dropped and has Bruce Willis back in action. The movie stars Bruce Willis, Chad Michael Murray, Sarah Roemer (Fired UpLove Child), Zack Ward (Resident Evil: Apocalypse), Swen Temmel and Sean Kanan.

The plot or what we know so far goes as follows: When cop David (Bruce Willis) is injured in a drug bust gone wrong, his partner, Cal, pursues the two criminals who shot him to a remote farm owned by troubled vet Eric (Chad Michael Murray). As Cal and Eric plot their defense, more of the gang arrives - along with a wounded David - and, outnumbered, the three heroes must use stealth, smarts, and marksmanship to take down the drug-dealing mob."

Sounds about the right type of movie that Bruce Willis should be involved in. The movie is directed by James Cullen Bressack (Beyond the Law; Blood Craft; Bethany...

Bruce Willis Makes New 3-Pic Deal With Emmett/Furla; ‘Killing Field’ To Be Offered At Virtual Cannes
Image
Exclusive: Bruce Willis has signed to star in three more pictures for Emmett/Furla Films. Eff co-CEOs Randall Emmett and George Furla have made 17 films with Willis, the latest of which is Midnight in the Switchgrass, a drama that marks the directorial debut of Emmett. The film, which also stars Megan Fox, Emile Hirsch and Colson ‘Machine Gun Kelly’ Baker, got five days into shooting in March, before being forced to close down because of the coronavirus pandemic.

That film is expected to resume production in Puerto Rico on June 29, pending clearances, and Willis will stay in Puerto Rico and move right into production on the first of the three pictures. Out of Death is a Bill Lawrence-scripted thriller that will be directed by Mike Burns. Willis will star with Jaime King. She plays woman on a hike who witnesses four strangers committing a crime. She races through the...

Watch: Tricky Sci-Fi Short Film 'Augmented' Directed by Ross Peacock
"Is that how you usually pick up women? By offering them a free makeover?" I really enjoyed this unique sci-fi short film. Augmented is a new short directed by Ross Peacock, produced by Ben Mortimer, telling a story set in the near future about augmented reality technology. This is one of those shorts that is best to watch without knowing much about it going in. The way it plays out and the tricks it plays are part of the experience. You may see what's coming at some point during this, but it is still an impressive short. It's simple, but works well, and it definitely got my attention due to the simplicity. Good performances from the cast. Better than most shorts that I come across, to be honest. It's worth a quick watch - check it out below. Thanks to Ben for the tip. Description from Vimeo: "A short film set in the near future,...

Watch – Resident Evil: First Hour Web Series
Fan-made films are often a mixed bag, but for every raving manifestation of one unhinged fan’s obsession and every painfully poor Lego “remake”, there is a high-production gem like the Resident Evil First Hour series, which has been produced by Cosmic Mutt Pictures and directed by former Wc contributor Ross Peacock, alongside April Choi, who wrote the series.

First Hour is a re-imagined prequel to Resident Evil 2, and follows franchise star Leon Kennedy as he and two other police officers find themselves trapped on a farm outside Raccoon City, fighting for their lives against an undead horde.

The series has now picked up almost 700,000 views in just under two months, and it is all for good reason. Despite being made on no money, the series looks surprisingly well-executed, and is a triumph of technique over expensive effects and production. And it would be wrong not to share the series with Resident Evil fans…...
