Varun Dhawan is the son of the Indian film director David Dhawan. He completed his education at the Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai and went on to graduate from Nottingham Trent University, UK, with a degree in Business Management.

Dhawan debuted in the film industry in 2012 with the film Student of the Year (2012) and has since established himself as a versatile actor known for his acting skills and good looks.
