Watch Tate McRae Strike a Pose in ‘Sports Car’ Music Video
Image
Tate McRae has dropped a new single, “Sports Car,” along with a music video for the track. The sultry song was written and produced by Ryan Tedder, Grant Boutin, and Julia Michaels.

The video, directed by Bardia Zeinali and styled by Brett Alan Nelson, sees the singer posing in various fashion-forward ensembles as she performs the song. “There was so much discomfort with this video,” McRae told Vogue about creating the clip. “I wore wigs for the first time, which was a risk for me because I’ve always had my hair and my look.

Doja Cat, Jennifer Garner, Sarah Michelle Gellar and More: Inside the Fashion Los Angeles Awards (Photos)
Image
Amelia Gray may have been named model of the year at The Daily Front Row’s eighth annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards on Sunday, but she’s certainly thinking beyond the catwalk.

Gray tells me she’ll probably try following in the acting footsteps of her parents, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin… eventually

“It is in my blood, but I have a lot more boxes to check,” she said on the red carpet. “I’m a firm believer in, focus on one thing, finish that and then start the next book once you finish the first one. We’re not even halfway done finishing the first book. We’ve got a lot more to do.”

The evening, which was hosted by comedian Celeste Barber at the Beverly Hills Hotel, also honored Adir Abergel (Hair Stylist of the Year), Anastasia Soare (Beauty Innovator of the Year), Brett Alan Nelson (Music Stylist...

Sci-fi and Beauty: Behind Christina Aguilera’s Pride Island Looks With Chrishabana
Image
It comes as no surprise that Chris Habana, the founder of his namesake label Chrishabana, has built an impressive list of clientele, from Beyoncé to Melanie Martinez to Cardi B, and now Christina Aguilera, or Xtina as the real fans call her. His sci-fi meets beauty and horror approach has been culturally all-consuming way before American Horror Story hit screens and seems more relevant than ever as nostalgia remains prominent in the culture.

In her recent Pride Island performance, Xtina sported the brand in looks that could have come directly...

Nicki Minaj Sued For Allegedly Damaging Borrowed Jewelry: Report
Image
Nicki Minaj has been slammed with a lawsuit.

The “Super Bass” rapper, 40, is being sued by a jeweller for allegedly failing to return jewelry she borrowed and damaged, according to TMZ.

According to the documents obtained by the outlet, Minaj allegedly borrowed dozens of pieces of jewelry and did not return the items on the date agreed upon.

Minaj’s attorney, Jordan Siev, denies the claims, stating there is a significant lack of evidence that the “Anaconda” performer damaged the jewelry. He has labelled the suit a publicity stunt.

“We have not been presented with any evidence that any of the jewelry at issue was damaged by Nicki,” said the attorney.

“This lawsuit appears to be nothing more than an ordinary insurance claim by the jeweller designed to generate publicity for itself and extract...

She has such a way with words and even more of a way with fashion.

In a custom, floor-length Oscar de la Renta dress complete with ears built into the top of the gown’s head covering, the singer and rapper leaned fully into the kind of pop...

Doja Cat Wows in Slinky Black Vinyl Atelier Versace Dress at the 2023 Grammys
Image
After making major fashion waves during couture week in Paris last month — including having her body covered in 30,000 Swarovski crystals for Schiaparelli — Doja Cat continues to wow on the red carpet.

For the 2023 Grammys, the music star (who is up for five awards) stunned in an edgy and slinky black vinyl gown by Atelier Versace. Styled by Brett Alan Nelson, she paired her body-hugging one-shoulder gown, that features a flared skirt and train, with long black vinyl gloves.

“You look fierce, Doja!” wrote designer Donatella Versace on her Instagram. And Chloe Bailey commented on the singer’s mermaid gown, “I’m obsessed.”

Doja Cat accessorized her look with black spiral Serpent hoop earrings by Panconesi.

Makeup artist Ernesto Casillas created her dramatic cat-eye look, while JStayReady was responsible for her black pixie cut.

At tonight’s 2023 Grammys, Doja Cat’s song “Woman” is nominated for best music video, best pop...

MTV VMAs: Lizzo’s Stylist Breaks Down Her Red-Carpet Couture (Exclusive)
Image
Click here to read the full article.

Few looks caused a social-media frenzy at MTV’s Video Music Awards on Aug. 28 like the strapless pleated silk gown Lizzo wore, a haute-couture design by Glenn Martens for the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2022 collection — and stylist Brett Alan Nelson was ready for it.

“The carpet dress I have been drooling over since it showed [in January],” Nelson tells The Hollywood Reporter exclusively. “It was a major risk, because both Lizzo and I knew, with the trolls of the internet, the look could be judged in a bad light. But neither of us cared, because it was couture, baby, off the runway. I live for the absurdity of fashion, and that is what we gave: grunge and a bit of rock ‘n’ roll, but glam, glam, glam.” An assortment of Jennifer Fisher earrings, gloves by Los Angeles-based Lael Osness, and boots by New Rock completed the look.
