FX’s Mayans M.C. season five episode 10 – the series finale – is, hands down, the best episode of the entire series. Amid all the blood and deaths, questions are answered, and dues are stamped paid. Not every character deserves their fate, but every death is, in its own way, justified.

Sons of Anarchy was Hamlet with motorcycles. Mayans M.C. is also a Shakespearean tragedy, complete with betrayals, love, loyalty, and murder.

Season five episode 10, “Slow to Bleed Fair Son,” begins with confirmation that Felipe has died. His funeral is the opening scene, with Angel (Clayton Cardenas) holding Maverick and Ez (Jd Pardo) solemnly staring straight ahead as “Were You There When They Crucified My Lord” is sung.

Still haven’t recovered from FX’s Mayans M.C. season five episode seven? Neither have I. But buckle up because episode eight – “Her Blacks Crackle and Drag” – doesn’t let up. The episode finds the Mayans saying goodbye to Creeper, Angel lost without Adelita, and Hope taking drastic measures to ensure Isaac can never hurt her or Letty again.

But, most importantly, the episode’s explosive ending might spell the end of Ez’s short reign over the prisons.

Michael Angarano is an underrated actor. Performances in films like The Art of Getting By, Ceremony, In a Relationship, and Red State showcase this. A few years ago, he also wrote and directed a project which he also starred in. That project, Avenues, played a film festival or two, but never came out. This week, it finally does, and it is well worth the wait. Angarano gives one of his best performances to date, while also showcasing some admirable filmmaking chops. It all builds to a low key little gem of a movie. You’ll have to search this one out, but it’s well worth the trouble. Angarano has got the goods. The movie is a dramedy taking place over more or less a single day. The day is the birthday of Max (Angarano), an underachieving writer dealing, or more aptly, not dealing, with the recent suicide of his brother.

Angarano, 31, wrote, directed and stars in the upcoming film Avenues, opposite fellow actors and real-life friends Nicholas Braun, Adelaide Clemens, Ari Graynor, Maya Kazan, Greg Vrotsos, Juno Temple, and People has an exclusive first look at the trailer.

The New York City-set film revolves around a long day and night out for lifelong friends Max (Angarano) and Peter (Braun), who are attempting to celebrate Max’s birthday in the wake of his brother’s suicide.

Showtime revealed the full cast list for its upcoming "Twin Peaks" revival, and it's nothing short of insane -- and insanely long.

The ensemble includes a whopping 217 actors -- yes, you read that right -- and amid all the returning faces, there are also a bunch of surprising, big-name newbies along for the ride this time around. (We've embedded the entire list at the end of this post.)

Original cast members that will be back include many previously-announced people, and the ensemble will feature the likes of Kyle MacLachlan, Sherilyn Fenn, Madchen Amick, Sheryl Lee, Dana Ashbrook, David Duchovny, Miguel Ferrer, Grace Zabriskie, Peggy Lipton, Ray Wise, Wendy Robie, Russ Tamblyn, and Catherine E. The new "Twin Peaks" isn't slated to debut on Showtime until 2017, but a flurry of speculation about it happened last week with a tweet from Go For Locations indicating that filming had wrapped on the "first two seasons" of the series.

The episode count for the David Lynch-directed series was always in question, but that tweet suggested we'd be getting even more episodes than originally planned. Said tweet has since been deleted, so we'll have to wait to see how that pans out.

Deadline have debuted the first images of Dwayne Johnson and Liam Hemsworth in Dito Montiel’s Empire State, a heist drama is based on true events that took place in 1982, centering on two childhood friends who plan to rob an armored car depository. Dwayne Johnson is set to play the NYPD detective out to catch them. Empire State, the drama that stars Liam Hemsworth and Dwayne Johnson, has filled out its cast with Twilight Saga‘s Nikki Reed, Michael Angarano, Emma Roberts, Entourage‘s Jerry Ferrara, Paul Ben-Victor, Shenae Grimes and Greg Vrotsos. The latter marks a convergence of Moe’s, with Ben-Victor playing Moe Howard in the ABC biopic of The Three Stooges, and Diamantopoulos just played Moe in the feature film. Empire State production kicks off Tuesday in New York City and New Orleans with Dito Montiel directing an Adam Mazer script about two friends in the ’80s who pull off a heist at an armored car company. Pic’s financed by Emmett/Furla Films with Georgia Film Fund 14, and will be distributed by Lionsgate.
