An Australian writer and director working across the mediums of stage and screen, McNamee splits her time between Australia and the US. With experience in drama, comedy and action, McNamee is a director that can cross genres whilst continuing to elicit nuanced and authentic performance. Her award-winning short films have screened in festivals globally including in LA, New York, Toronto and Sydney. Rebecca has trained at the iconic comedy theatre, The Second City, in Chicago USA, as well as at Chicago Filmmakers and AFTRS. She was the recipient of the Andrew Cameron AM & Cathy Cameron Scholarship for MFA (Directing) at Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).
