Vin Diesel gave “Fast and Furious” fans something to talk about after showing up at Fuel Fest in Pomona, California. The event was packed with car lovers, and Diesel took the stage with Tyrese Gibson and Cody Walker to share some major updates about the next “Fast” movie—what’s expected to be the last one in the franchise.
He told the crowd that the movie is now aiming for an April 2027 release. He said the studio asked him to make that happen, but he agreed only if they met three conditions.
“The studio said to me, ‘Vin, can we please have the finale of ‘Fast and Furious’ [in] April 2027?’ I said, ‘Under three conditions.’ First, is to bring the franchise back to L.A.! The second thing was to return to the car culture, to the street racing! The third thing was reuniting Dom and Brian O’Conner,” Diesel said.

After the success of Fast X, the audience have been long waiting for the final film in the franchise, Fast X Part 2, to see how our decade-long relationship with the franchise concludes. And Diesel is, as always, happy to share another insight with his fans.
In a new video shared on Instagram, the Riddick star can be seen drifting in his faithful black 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454, which he’s previously teased to be using in the upcoming movie. While we don’t know how Dom’s trusted vehicle returns, it certainly brings the story full circle. The video concludes with ominous words “The saga continues.”

Face/Off, starring John Travolta and Nicolas Cage, is among the coolest action movies of the 90s. The unconventional plot, John Woo’s direction, and performances have made the 1997 movie a cult classic. Though the makers were initially skeptical of the bizarre plot of the movie, Face/Off became a blockbuster.
Recently, a BTS footage from Face/Off went viral that showed the filming of a fight scene between Travolta and Cage. In the clip, we can see Travolta being choked by Nicolas Cage, who seems to be too much into his character.
John Travolta could not believe Nicolas Cage would be so intense during Face/Off filming A still from Face/Off | Credits: Paramount Pictures
The story of Face/Off was undoubtedly too crazy on pen and paper. A plot featuring a dedicated FBI agent, Sean Archer (John Travolta), swapping faces with an international terrorist, Castor Troy (Nicolas Cage), sounds quite difficult to pay off on-screen.

After revisiting different iterations of his black symbiote suit for Funko and Target's Marvel Selects line, Spider-Man is swinging back to his roots with his latest collectible. The iconic wall-crawler is getting a new Pop! comic cover figure that travels back in time to the days when Stan Lee and Steve Ditko were at the helm of Peter Parker's adventures as writer and illustrator, respectively. He won't be alone either, as the artwork features a few cameos from a Marvel ally and one of his greatest villains from the page and screen. Collider is excited to offer an exclusive preview of the figure and its background pulled from The Amazing Spider-Man #19 from 1964.
There's plenty of action to this Pop!, as it's depicted holding on tightly to his web and preparing to swing right out of the box. It's a perfect recreation of the classic cover, which sees the hero...

Nicolas Cage’s new movie recently began playing in theaters everywhere, but that didn’t stop the Oscar-winner from delivering a new update on one of his most intriguing upcoming projects. Cage has been tapped to reprise his role as Spider-Man Noir in the upcoming Prime Video series, Spider-Noir, which began filming late last year. Cage first made his debut as the character in animated form with Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse before returning only in the post-credit scene of the sequel, Across the Spider-Verse. Information about Spider-Noir is being kept under heavy wraps — a concept any Marvel-adjacent project knows all too well — and during a recent interview with Collider's own Steve Weintraub to promote his new movie, The Surfer, Cage spoke on the dreaded Marvel vow of silence, and how he “can't say one word" about the secretive series

Spider-Noir is a series featuring Nicholas Cage as a spider themed private detective. Cage first played the character in Into the Spider-Verse, then reprised the role for Across the Spider-Verse and is expected to reprise the role in the third film, Beyond the Spider-Verse. It would make sense for the live action version of this character to be the same one featured in the animated movies, they are played by the same person after all, but there has been no official confirmation on this.
MGM+ is where the series will initially debut in the US, but will then become available on Amazon Prime Video globally. The series will have eight episodes and, while there aren’t a ton of details about it right now, the series is said to be a hard boiled detective story set in an alternate version of 1930s New York City where Nicholas Cage’s character is based.

Sitting atop the global box office is A Minecraft Movie, a film that’s taken 11 years and 28 writers to get to the screen.
After struggling in development for the best part of a decade, cinemas were packed out this past weekend as A Minecraft Movie opened to the kind of numbers we’ve not seen for a while. Over $300m of business was done around the globe in the three days, and with school holidays kicking off, Warner Bros’ bank balance should look a fair amount healthier by the time the film has completed its run.
It’s little secret that A Minecraft Movie went through plenty of creatives on its way to the screen, though, with Jared Hess the director who finally got it completed. But also, a lot of writers were involved. The final WGA-sanctioned credits for the film list six different names. Story on the film is credited to Allison Schroeder,...

One of the deadliest characters in the Mortal Kombat universe has just been immortalized with a new collectible. Iron Studios has officially released the first images of a new Kung Lao figure from Mortal Kombat, showing the deadly warrior standing atop a pool of skulls, the remains of anyone foolish enough to face him. The figure is based on Kung Lao’s appearance in the Mortal Kombat video game franchise instead of Max Huang’s portrayal of the character in the 2021 film, a role that he will reprise in the sequel coming to theaters later this year. The new Kung Lao figure retails for $199.99 and is now available for pre-order from IronStudios.com. It will be shipped out worldwide later this year between October and December.
This isn’t the first time this year that Iron Studios has given a new figure to a character from the Mortal Kombat franchise.

I’m really looking forward to Nicolas Cage’s Spider-Noir, and one actor on the series has teased that it could double down on the film noir aspect. While speaking with ComingSoon.net, Lukas Haas said Spider-Noir could be released in black-and-white. I’d be into that.
“We filmed it in — I think it may come out in both black and white and color, but when we filmed it, the monitors were all black and white, so you got this feeling and it looked very, very authentic,” Haas said. “To the point that I would actually go and look at the monitor and think I was looking at some older footage, but it was actually just a monitor of what was on the camera at the time. They did a beautiful job with the filters and all that stuff, making it look like genuine old 1930s, black and white film.

In response to the Covid pandemic, Warner Bros. gave all of their 2021 films day-and-date theatrical and Max streaming releases – and one movie that really benefited from the streaming side of that strategy was the video game adaptation Mortal Kombat, released in April of 2021. As reported by Business Insider, Mortal Kombat had the best weekend of any of the Warner Bros. releases on Max, with a total of 3.8 million viewers during its first few days. In addition to that, the film, which cost $55 million to make, earned $83.6 million at the global box office. So, within months of its release, Warner Bros. was already developing sequels and spinoffs. The first follow-up will be making its way into theatres sometime in 2025 – and here’s everything we know about Mortal Kombat 2.

Longlegs star Nicolas Cage voiced the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man Noir in the animated feature Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and we’re going to have the chance to watch him play the character in live-action in the upcoming MGM+ and Prime Video series that’s going by the title Spider-Noir. That show is currently in production, and today, Deadline revealed that the recurring cast includes Amy Aquino (Bosch) and Andrew Robinson (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine)!
I’m especially excited to hear that Andrew Robinson is involved with this show, because he has been largely absent from our screens for way too long. The character actors has racked up over 100 credits over the course of a career that stretches back to 1969, with Dirty Harry, Mask, Cobra, Hellraiser, Shoot to Kill, Child’s Play 3, Trancers III, Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings, and The Puppet Masters being among the many movies you might have seen him in.

Nicolas Cage has some new co-stars. Two more actors have just joined the cast of Spider-Noir, the upcoming MGM+ and Prime Video live-action series based on the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man Noir.
According to Deadline, Amy Aquino (Bosch) and Andrew Robinson (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) have been added to the recurring cast of Spider-Noir. Outside Bosch, in which she starred as Lt. Grace Billets, Aquino is known for her recurring roles in Being Human, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Brothers & Sisters, and most recently appeared as Judge Thelma Hollub in Clint Eastwood's 2024 drama Juror #2. As for Robinson, he seems to have taken a step back from acting in the mid-2000s, although he voiced an alternate version of his Deep Space Nine character Elim Garak in an episode of the animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks last year.

Nicolas Cage is not playing Peter Parker.
After voicing a version of the character in the animated films Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and Across The Spider-Verse, Nicolas Cage‘s casting as the Noir version excited people. To differentiate the project from the film adaptation and the various versions of Spider-Man’s alter ego, the series will present a different take on the Noir hero by making him someone other than the character played by Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, or Tobey Maguire in live-action. It's business as usual in Los Angeles now the worst of the wildfires is over and Spider-Noir resumed shooting yesterday. Lead star Nicolas Cage, no stranger to comic book adaptations, has been spotted in costume as Ben Reilly, albeit in his P.I. gear rather than a super-suit.
The actor first played this version of Spidey in 2018's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and became an instant fan-favourite. The fact he's getting to reprise the role in live-action isn't something we ever expected, though this Spider-Man is Ben, not Peter Parker (we don't think that makes him a clone; it's more than likely a result of Sony not wanting to confuse audiences).
It's been a while since we got any updates about Spider-Noir but MGM and Amazon Prime appear to be moving full steam ahead with the streaming series.
While it was put into development before Sony Pictures pulled the plug on its villain-led Marvel Universe,...
