Rajani was a young girl shopping at the Rangoon Textiles shop (which no longer exists) in Thiruvananthapuram. Someone said that actor Sathyan was standing outside the Cannemora Café (which also no longer exists) nearby. Little Rajani ran to have a look at the star. White shirt, black pants, sunglasses and a cigarette on his lips, she noticed him leaning against a car. He saw the little girl and smiled at her, she recalled. Years later, when a friend rang up to tell her about his death, she could not believe it. Written and directed by Rj Shaan, the short film seems to have only Anupama and Hakkim as its cast. Best Actor Completes Shooting
Malayalam film megastar Mammootty starrer film Best Actor has completed shooting last week. Mammootty will be seen in two different get ups in this film. In the first half of the film, he will appear as a school teacher of a village school and in the second half, he will be seen as an aspiring actor with different look to impress the filmmakers.

Fashion photographer turned director Martin Prakkat is directing this movie, which will have filmmaker Lal Jose in a special appearance. He will be seen playing his role as director, which he is in real life too.

Bipin Chandran has written the screenplay and dialogues of the movie, which has Shruthi Ramakrishnna as the heroine. Some other important roles in the film are played by actors like Bijukuttan, K P A C Lalitha, Salimkumar and Nedumudi Venu.

Best Actor has been produced by Noushad under the Big Screen banner.
