All Batman Movies Ranked By Box Office
Image
The most financially successful Batman movie earned $1,082,228,107 worldwide. Its success is attributed to the popularity of its predecessor and anticipation for the franchise's conclusion. Other Batman movies have been much less profitable.

The Batman movies have varied a lot throughout the years, particularly regarding overall box office performance, which highlights a surprising forerunner as the most profitable Batman movie ever. The first Batman movie appeared in 1966, and DC's Caped Crusader has been a cinematic staple ever since. Following this, Batman movies have varied from the bizarre to the brilliant, often with surprising box office results.

Batman has appeared in a litany of live-action movies, alongside a string of widely acclaimed animated Batman movies and franchises. The most popular of these reign supreme in the Dcu timeline as some of the greatest comic book movies ever made. However, several Batman movies boast shockingly impressive box office results (via The Numbers), despite...

Leslie A. Hughes
It's time to say so long to all those Victoria's Secret bikinis you had planned on buying for summertime. The Bachelor's Sean Lowe Blogs: Why I Sent Home Leslie
They say opposites attract. That certainly holds true on The Bachelor when thinking about Selma. From the first night I couldn't keep my eyes off of the 5' 1" dark-haired, olive-skinned, Iraqi beauty. Selma was incredibly beautiful, smart and fun, too! I was waiting for the perfect date for Selma, and rock climbing could not have been better because she told me she often gets judged as a prissy girl. This was my chance to see if she could rough it for a day. From the moment I picked Selma up, everything seemed so natural. It amazed me how comfortable I was with her.

'Bachelor' Recap: Tierra Triumphs & Amanda Falls
Sean Lowe in The Bachelorette (2003)
The competition for Bachelor Sean Lowe's heart is heating up!

Thirteen girls are left to vie for Sean's affections this week, and it's no surprise announcements of the coveted one-on-ones are making everyone a bit antsy. To the dismay of the other women (especially Leslie H., who breaks out in tears from frustration), Selma is chosen for the first whirlwind date.

Despite Selma's distaste for athletics and the heat, Sean's rough-and-tumble rock climbing date in the desert turns out to be a hit. The self-proclaimed girly girl escalates the 100-ft rock with relative ease and earns a few points from Sean in the process. As a reward for being a good sport, the two cap off the night with a romantically eclectic dinner in a converted trailer park. Struck by the urge to kiss his date, Sean asks permission to make a move but is denied by Selma out of fear her strict parents will be...

'The Bachelor': Tierra, the tierrable, horrible, no good, very bad date
This week, "The Bachelor" kicks off with Chris Harrison dropping by the Bachelorette Manse in a fetching eggplant-hued shirt. Very nice. Sean also has a nice shirt on -- wait, no he doesn't. 'Cause why would Sean wear a shirt?

Selma's Date

Cute little Selma gets the first solo date. Look at those dimples. She's like Sandra-Bullock-in-Speed cute. As Sean arrives, he says he's "had a connection with Selma since night one." Just once, it'd be nice if the Bachelor would say, "Yeah, I'm not really feeling it with Betty, but she's really smokin', so I keep giving her a rose. Hopefully this date will let me know if we have absolutely anything in common other than thinking each other is hot."

But they never say that. It's a shame the main Bachelors or Bachelorettes don't have a little more of a sense of humor about their experience. But...

Sean Lowe in The Bachelorette (2003)
'Bachelor' host Chris Harrison teases tonight's Tierrable episode (and more ambulances to come!)
Sean Lowe in The Bachelorette (2003)
Tonight’s episode of The Bachelor (ABC, 8 p.m. Et) has everything the show is known for: tension as Tierra and everyone Robyn clash, an ill-conceived group outing that results in someone needing medical attention, a “Pretty Woman” date, and another love-conquers-all-fears adrenaline escapade (and a contestant with intimacy issues kicker). We asked host Chris Harrison for a few teases:

• The roller derby date: ”Roller derby was, I think, in the line of many bad ideas for dates where people get hurt. It reminded me of the Muay Thai boxing [during Ashley Hebert's Bachelorette season] where we’re like, ‘How about if everyone just beats each other up,...

'The Bachelor': Roller derby date leads to the hospital
On the next episode of "The Bachelor," one bachelorette is rushed to the hospital. And no, it's not because Tierra pushes her down the stairs.

The group date is a roller derby, which is awesome. Talk about an environment where you should put a bunch of women on wheels and encourage them to knock each other around. We're surprised only one woman goes to the hospital, frankly.

Meanwhile, Selma and Leslie H. get the one-on-one dates. Selma mistakenly thinks she's headed for a luxury date, when in fact she is going rock climbing with a presumably-shirtless Sean. Leslie is actually the girl who gets the "Pretty Woman" treatment -- no, not prostitution. A Rodeo Drive shopping spree and a private concert by Ben Taylor.

And in Tierra News, the resident drama queen fights with Robyn and storms off, shedding big ol' tears and needing Sean to comfort her. Is it...

'The Bachelor': Tierra falls down the stairs, Kacie falls into the snitching trap
We're down to 16 women on "The Bachelor" and tonight we have three heading home. Plus Tierra falls (or is pushed, or throws herself) down the stairs. Oh, the humanity!

Shirtless Sean opening. Drink.

Lesley M.'s Date

So, one of the girls from last week's group date gets a solo, which is fine, we guess. But it always sucks that girls go dateless while other girls rack up multiple dates. Anyway, Lesley and Sean head to the Guinness World of Records, which kind of makes the show look a little cheap. This is like an attraction from some small-time amusement park (like Adventureland near where I grew up, in Iowa).

Then just as I'm done typing that, it turns out Sean's dad holds the record for shortest drive of the contiguous 48 states. His picture is up and everything. Ok, well, that's kinda cool. And now it turns out Sean...

Recap: 'Bachelor' Sean Whittles Ladies Down to 15
Sean Lowe in The Bachelorette (2003)
Last week, Bachelor Sean Lowe narrowed 25 beauties down to 19 after a whirlwind night of first impressions. This week, the sexy 26-year-old Texan followed his heart, rather than instinct, as he ventured one step closer towards finding his bride-to-be.

Whisked away by helicopter, Sarah became the envy of the house when she was chosen as the first person to enjoy a one-on-one this week. Not your average first date, the twosome braved a 300-ft freefall before toasting to the future with a glass of champagne, and it seemed the adrenaline rush was just the key to getting Sean's shy date to open up about a heartbreaking incident where she was left embarrassed by her disability. Moved, the bachelor gifted his date with a rose.

Video: Inside 'Bachelor' Sean's Harlequin-Themed Date

Next, 13 ladies were chosen for a romance novel-themed photo shoot date, complete with shirt ripping and tons of exposed skin. Given four themes...
