Today, Apple TV+ announced that the reimagined original kids and family series Yo Gabba GabbaLand! will return for season two on Friday, January 30, 2026.

Apple TV+ will imminently be premiering Goldie, an all-new animated series for kids and families. Ahead of the show's launch on streaming, Cbr can unveil an exclusive sneak peek featuring the voice of the world's most beloved parodist.
Goldie is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on Valentine's Day, which is Feb. 14. The second season of Apple TV+’s psychological thriller “Surface” has a new trailer for its eight-episode season, teasing Sophie’s (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) ambitious venture to London.
The new chapter of the show follows Sophie as she is forced to unravel the secrets of her past with an injury that has wiped her memories clean. She embeds herself in royal British society but everything changes when a journalist unexpectedly reaches out to her about a new scandal.

U.S. production, finance and management firm The Cartel has appointed Apa’s former head of motion picture literary Ryan Saul as manager/producer and has promoted Bradford Bricken to partner.
The Cartel’s co-ceo Stan Spry said Saul had a “penchant for discovering young talent,” and added “his ability to nurture that talent is something we pride ourselves in.”
Saul began his career as an executive assistant at the Walt Disney Company and went on to become head of motion picture literary at Apa. Most recently, he was a motion picture literary agent at Paradigm Talent Agency.
According to a statement, “He has garnered the reputation of being able to develop clients from unknown writers or young short film directors to become some of the leading creatives in Hollywood, working on some of the biggest studio films in production.”
His clients included Tim Reckart, who is directing “High in the Clouds” for Netflix,...

The Palm Springs International ShortFest wrapped Sunday with top prizes going to “The Christmas Gift,” directed by Bogdan Muresanu, for best of the festival, Nara Normande’s “Guaxuma” for best international short and Horatio Baltz’s “King Wah (I Think I Love You)” for best North American short.
The festival is the largest shorts-focused event in North America, screening 369 films during the festival as well as 5,600 in the film market. Juried award winners of some categories are qualified to enter the shorts categories for the Oscars.
Best U.S. short went to “Manila is Full of Men Named Boy,” by Andrew Stephen Lee, while Best animated short went to “Dani” directed by Lizzy Hogenson.
