Paramount’s Gladiator II trailer has stormed the internet with a whopping 215 million views worldwide across platforms in just days! This time, Paul Mescal takes the helm as a grown-up Lucius, joined by Pedro Pascal and Denzel Washington, promising nothing short of a thrilling cinematic extravaganza!

And while Paramount’s YouTube trailer for Gladiator II broke records with views, the audience however had mixed reactions, which was pretty evident by the likes and well, the dislikes count. While many fans are hyped, there’s been a wild split with 133,000 likes versus 279,000 dislikes, with the latter seemingly climbing every second!

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, “Pirates of the Caribbean” producer Jerry Bruckheimer seemingly confirmed a couple of things. Firstly, it sounds like Johnny Depp is not returning for “Pirates of the Caribbean,” even if Bruckheimer wants it. Secondly, it seems Disney may indeed move forward with Margo Robbie’s film as well.

We also learned that Jeff Nathanson, who wrote the last “Pirates of the Caribbean” film in 2017 is writing the reboot. At this point the third act is great but the first and second act need more work.

He told EW, “I think he’s cracked it,” Bruckheimer remarks. “He’s got an amazing third act. We just gotta clean up the first and second and then we’ll get there. But he wrote a great, great third act.”

The script is in play, but does that mean Johnny Depp will return?

Bruckheimer makes it sound unlikely.

His latest clip shows the Laughing Mask killer, tormenting two tied victims. As an update, The Laughing Mask has been shot and completed. The film is currently in talks for distribution, with a World Premiere set to be announced shortly. The Laughing Mask is an indie horror co-production from America and Brazil from writer/director Michael Aguiar and production house Bravestarr Pictures. The Laughing Mask was shot and completed in Florida over a rigorous 28-day shooting schedule.

The Director of Photography, William Schweikert, used a Red Epic camera to capture all of the horrifying imagery, while Daniel Mazikowski (The Sadist) handled all the special effects. The cast is compromised of several rising stars including Fran Rafferty, Inge Uys, Gabriel Lee, Sheyenne Rivers, Matt Ganey, and Thomas Noel Smith.

The film’s story involves the loss of family. Jake has lost his wife to a deranged killer – The Laughing Mask.
