Biography

    • Actress and singer Sheryl Rubio was born in Caracas, Venezuela. In 2007, Rubio was cast as the lead in the Boomerang series Somos tú y yo (2007), where character of Sheryl Sanchez. The show was a smash and hit records, sell-out tours and merchandising deals soon followed. Rubio became a teen superstar.

      In 2010 she reprised her role as Sheryl Sanchez in the series, No puede ser (2010). The series is the second spin-off of Somos tú y yo and marks the closing of the series. Following the success of Somos tú y yo (2007) Rubio made the move into other roles - including playing Stefanny Miller in Mi ex me tiene ganas (2011) and Lucía Dávila in The House of Flowers (2018). She was most recently the protagonist in Playa Soledad (2023)

      Her actress career includes participaciones in soap operas like Amantes De Luna Llena (2000) La viuda joven (2010), Corazón Esmeralda (2012) and Guerra De Idolos (2017).

      She was the star of the podcast in Spanish "The Princess of South Beach."

      She has released 4 songs in addition to her songs from Somos Tu Y Yo and Guerra de Idolos: Quiero Que Vuelvas (2011), Terminamos (2019), Hoy (2019) and Me Traicione (2022)
