Born and raised (circa 1986) in Austria and Germany, Philipp has followed his passion for acting from Berlin to Los Angeles.
At 18-years-old while still in high school, he was selected among hundreds of aspiring actors to play the part of Romeo in a national tour of William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet", performing in many of Europe's most renowned performing arts venues.
After graduating high school, he attended Berlin's prestigious performing arts conservatory "Schauspielschule Charlottenburg", where he studied acting.
In 2010 he was asked to join the cast at Schlossparktheater Berlin, where he celebrated rave reviews for his original cast performance of Mark in Philipp Moog's play "Die Nadel der Kleopatra" (Cleopatra's Needle). The following year he moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in film.
In 2018 he guest starred on the FX hit show "Atlanta" alongside Donald Glover and Zadie Beetz. Philipp made his Hollywood feature film debut as Axel in Disney's summer blockbuster "Jungle Cruise" alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Emily Blunt.
Philipp is developing his first feature film script and will debut as director in an upcoming mini-series.
