Some sad news came in this evening for fans of the Under the Dome TV series hoping for a fourth season. The fate of the series has been uncertain, but it was confirmed today that another season is not in the cards, as CBS announced that the series finale will air on September 10th:

Plus, Con attendees can get a sneak peek at "Star Wars: Rebels," "The Last Ship" and, of course, "Sharknado 2." "24" Jack Bauer is eager to get things started right away. Famed author Stephen King has a long history of film adaptations of his novels, resulting in features such as The Shining, 1408, and two theatrical versions of Carrie. Season one of the CBS TV series Under the Dome, an adaptation of the Stephen King novel of the same name, ended on a very tense, throat-tightening note. Its return this summer, then, will likely sate the appetites of viewers who have been hungry for more misadventures in Chester’s Mill.
