The director, Brendan Petrizzo has a history with The Asylum, having produced and/or directed films that include The Devil’s Triangle and Attack of the Meth Gator. One of the writers, Marc Gottlieb, also has a long history there, having written among others Top Gunner: Danger Zone and 2025 Armageddon.

At the end of September, JoBlo Media and Octane Multimedia teamed up to launch a new YouTube channel named JoBlo TV, which hosts multiple feature films to watch for free throughout the week. The genres we’ll be focusing on at JoBlo TV are Action, Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Thrillers – and the free movies we shared this week delivered thrills, action, and horror!
This week’s line-up consisted of the crime thriller Danny’s Game, the Western action movie The Price of Death, and the horror film An English Haunting. Here’s some information on each of them:
Directed by Bill Cooper from a screenplay by Joshua Ungaretti, Danny’s Game has the following synopsis: Danny Bishop is a gambling prodigy. After exiling himself to prison, he returns to his brothers home only to find himself back in the game because of a large debt for his protection in prison.

ITN Studios has renamed their horror movie inspired by Mickey Mouse from ‘The Mouse Experiment’ to ‘Mouse of Horrors.’
This exciting new indie film has released an official trailer and promises a terrifying twist on a beloved character.
The movie, set to hit theaters soon, features a group of friends who find themselves trapped and hunted by a mutated rat named Steamboat Willie at a creepy amusement park.
Directed by Brendan Petrizzo, the cast of ‘Mouse of Horrors’ includes Natasha Tosini, Lewis Santer, Nichaela Farrell, Michelle Bauer, Allie Moreno, and Tessa Wood. It’s important to note that this film is not associated with the so-called “Poohniverse.”
Interestingly, the film taps into the newly public domain character of Steamboat Willie, the classic 1928 short film character that marked Mickey Mouse’s debut. Now that it’s public domain, filmmakers are free to use this version of Mickey without needing Disney’s approval.

And a whole bunch of them are taking advantage, with a slew of twisted Mickey projects already in the works.
The first of these features was The Mouse Trap, released just last month, with Screamboat headed our way sometime next year. And then there’s Mouseboat Massacre, coming soon.
Additionally, Bloody Disgusting has exclusively learned that ITN Studios is getting set to unleash The Mouse Experiment, and they’ve provided us with the official poster today.

A full Free Movie of the Day is posted on the JoBlo Horror Movies YouTube channel every other day during the week – but on Fridays things get even freakier and a little more fun. Get your weekend started the right way by indulging in Friday Fright Nights! Every Friday, we’ll be taking a look at another genre movie you can watch in its entirety, free of charge, either on the YouTube channel linked above or in the video embed here.
The Friday Fright Night feature we have for you this week is called An English Haunting – which doesn’t leave much question as to what sort of movie this might be. Of course it’s a haunted house movie. And this isn’t always a horror sub-genre that I get much enjoyment out of, because shots of creaky doors swinging open by themselves don’t do anything for me.

Stars: David Lenik, Tessa Wood, Barrington De La Roche, Emma Spurgin Hussey, Jéssica Alonso, Rory Wilton | Written and Directed by Charlie Steeds
Charlie Steeds, director of [Escape From] Cannibal Farm, Winterskin and The Barge People is back once again for An English Haunting, an altogether different film for Steeds given his past track record.
You see those three aforementioned films are very much in a different realm than An English Haunting, they run the gamut from to exploitation to monster movie to 80s-throwback gore-fest. And whilst the previous three films homaged the kinds of movies you’d find in your local video shop back in the 80s/90s – the films of Tobe Hooper, John Carpenter etc.; An English Haunting is more in the vein of the classic M.R. James Christmas ghost stories than genre fans still rave about to this day. It also has one of the most succinct titles of recent memory!

Tagline: "Be Careful What You Look For." An English Haunting is the latest film from director Charlie Steeds (The Barge People). This latest title is set in the '60s, at an isolated estate. Here, Blake and his mother must look after their dying grandfather. But, something else resides in the manor. Already in post-production, this release stars: David Lenik. (Winterskin), Tessa Wood (The Last House on Cemetery Lane) and Rory Wilton. A trailer was released for An English Haunting recently and the film's sales art can also be found here, too. A longer synopsis, for the film, was released in 2019. These story details mention a live-in nurse, who has mysteriously disappeared. Ghosts haunt the halls. And, this dying grandfather's illness might have a supernatural origin. An English Haunting is being represented by High Octane Pictures, for a future release. This title is expected to show in the United States,...
