San Diego Comic-Con badge holders will be the first to watch the first two Twisted Metal season two episodes. The series will be well represented at the Sdcc, with Peacock bringing the stars of the action comedy to the convention for a panel. The streamer’s also setting up a special “Bumper Battle” activation with bumper cars modeled after the show’s vehicles.

Season two will premiere on Peacock on July 31, 2025 with the release of the first three episodes. New episodes will stream on Thursdays.

Per a release date teaser on Thursday, Season 2 will debut on July 31. The teaser, embedded below, doesn’t give away much more about the season than had already been revealed in previous trailers, but we know that Raven (Neve Campbell) has been grooming Anthony Mackie’s John Doe for the sinister Twisted Metal Tournament — which looks to be about as lovely as it sounds.

Twisted Metal gears up for Season 2 with several new casting additions. The live-action adaptation of the eponymous video game sees The Walking Dead's Michael James Shaw among the fresh faces for the upcoming season.

Per Deadline, Shaw is one of three new actors confirmed for Twisted Metal Season 2, alongside High School Musical star Saylor Bell Curda and Interior Chinatown's Lisa Gilroy. All three join the upcoming season of the Peacock series in recurring roles. Their roles have not yet been revealed.

When the TV series based on the popular video game franchise Twisted Metal made its premiere on the Peacock streaming service back in July, it quickly became one of Peacock’s top five original series, racking up 400 million viewing minutes in its first weekend and earning the honor of being the streamer’s “most-binged” premiere. Now season 2 is speeding ahead and is currently in production. A couple of months ago, it was announced that Richard de Klerk (A Teenage Prophet), Patty Guggenheim (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law), and Tiana Okoye (Mrs. Davis) had joined the cast in unspecified recurring guest roles. Now Deadline reveals that Saylor Bell Curda of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series; Michael James Shaw, who was seen wearing the pumpkin-colored amor of the character Mercer in the final season of The Walking Dead; and Lisa Gilroy of Interior Chinatown have also joined the cast, playing unspecified recurring roles.

Outer Banks is considered by so many as one of the most fun teen Netflix originals, and they are correct. When a hustler named Chicken Man (Kevin Hart) hosts an afterparty to celebrate the fight with a guest list of the country’s wealthiest, the night ends with the most brazen criminal underworld heist in Atlanta’s history.

Suspected of masterminding the crime, Chicken Man is hellbent on clearing his name but must convince his old adversary, J.D. Hudson (Don Cheadle), one of the first Black detectives in the city’s desegregated police force, who is tasked with bringing those responsible to justice.

There will be no third season of Blood & Treasure.

The treasure-hunting drama has been canceled after two seasons, according to TV Line.

No reason has been given for the cancellation, but the writing was on the wall when the show was renewed in 2019 while the first season was airing, and then the show disappeared.

It started its life on CBS, but it was announced in 2022 that the series would return with its long-delayed second season that year.

Given the length of time between seasons, many assumed the show was dead.

Fueling the rumors that the show was dead even more was that the cast moved on to other projects.

Co-creator Matthew Federman wrote the following on Twitter on the day of the Season 2 finale airing.

"I don't know what the future holds but I'm very proud of what we got to do with this show, shooting our little action...

As expected, Danny and Lexi's travels have come to a close. The Blood & Treasure drama has been officially cancelled so, the action-adventure series won't be back for a third season on Paramount+.

It’s official. Action-adventure series Blood & Treasure will not return for a third season.

The move is not unexpected. Series lead Matt Barr stars in CW’s Walker: Independence which launched its first season in October. The drama series aired its first season on CBS and moved to sibling streamer Paramount+ for Season 2 with a one-season commitment. The season finale and now series finale aired on October 2.
