We were bummed when Dani Shay didn't make it to the finale on The Glee Project, but it seems there was a pretty good consolation prize. Before the reality show even aired on Oxygen, Dani had started a relationship with fellow contestant Ali Stroker. If you were an avid watcher of the series and had no idea, you didn't miss anything — they kept the whole thing a secret until just this past week, when they released a music video to announce their relationship to the world.
In the video for Dani's new song "One," it's clear that she's singing about a woman. The romantic video has her paired with a blonde-haired lover in bed, on the beach, at dinner, and it's not until the very end it's revealed that the song about her "tiny shiny star" is Ali.
Fan reactions have been overwhelmingly positive,...

Good morning!
Jodie Foster is developing a female-centric mob series for Showtime. Angie’s Body is said to be "a Sopranos-like drama that follows a shrewd and lethal woman who runs a family-based crime syndicate." It doesn't look like Jodie will star in it, but she is going to direct and executive produce. It's Showtime so I hope there are lesbians.

Remember when Wendi McLendon-Covey got drunk and kissed Ellie Kemper in Bridesmaids? Well now she's committing to being a lesbian on Modern Family. The funny lady will be playing "one-half of a lesbian couple whose son gets into a fight with Lily on the first day of kindergarten." Michaela Watkins will be her wife and Wendi tells EW:
I can’t wait. I go in and film it tomorrow and Wednesday and Thursday.

Dani Shay is no stranger to reality TV competitions. The 23-year-old Floridian first appeared on "America's Got Talent" in 2011, wowing the judges with her voice -- and her uncanny likeness to Justin Bieber.
Shay made it to the quarterfinals before being eliminated from the competition after failing to secure enough votes. But the independent artist took it in stride, auditioning for "The Glee Project" the following year. The "Glee" hopeful sailed through Week 1, but felt the pressure when she had to memorize a dance routine during "Dance-ability" week.
Although Ryan Murphy & Co. called Shay a great artist, she didn't quite have the performance chops to impress the "Glee" creator, and she was eliminated in Week 2 of the competition.
HuffPost TV chatted with Shay about her time on "The Glee Project," gender identity, disappointing Zach Woodlee and yes, Justin Bieber.

Week two of The Glee Project started off with a twist. [Spoiler Alert!] Early in the program, Taryn chose to leave the competition. But she wasn’t the only elimination during last night’s movement-based episode, “Dance-ability.” Dani Shay, a 23-year-old Florida native, was the second contestant to be sent packing. Shay spoke to EW and shed some light on Taryn’s shocking departure: “Taryn and I were pretty close that first week. We were both kind of raised in the hood, so we bonded over that. We sang together at night. I knew she was having a hard time adjusting — is a huge adjustment to make.

Last summer, Dani Shay hit the "America's Got Talent" stage with a hilarious spoof of Justin Bieber's "Baby" -- which worked because she looks just like him. Check it out:Now the 23-year-old is back, as a finalist on Season 2 of "The Glee Project!"The show, which seeks out new talent to star on the hit Fox series "Glee," premieres tonight on Oxygen. A music video featuring the top 14 finalists has been released, and Dani appears around 1:52, looking as Bieber as ever.See "The Glee Project" finalists' take on Lady Gaga's "Edge of Glory.""Glee" prides itself on supporting the underdog and embracing differences in people. This season of "The Glee Project" definitely seems to stay along those lines as some of the finalists include Mario, who is 24 and blind; 24-year-old Ali who is paralyzed from the chest down and has been in a wheelchair since age 2; and Tyler,...

Due to a power outage, I did not have access to "America's Got Talent" last night, so my apologies on the lateness of this. Also, I'm doing it based on the online videos, so I don't have the judges' comments on my versions. I also don't have the right order, though I'm pretty sure the Kinetic King went first because of set-up.
1. The Kinetic King
I hope this goes better than last time, even if I don't think he should advance. Nobody wants to watch him be sad and embarrassed. This week, he has many pop cans set up along with his tongue depressors and it gets going, but it's reeeeeeally slow. It's not as cool as his exploding tongue depressors. Ok, so that was kinda boring and he should not advance, but I'm glad he got his redemption for last time.
2. Seth Grabel
Seth talks to the audience as...

Alright. If I had my way for the second quarterfinals of "America's Got Talent," I'd send through Silhouettes, Steven Retchless, Landon Swank and Smage Bros. I forgot about them last night, but I think they were pretty good and so many singing acts get through. But I do think Dani Shay and Daniel Joseph Baker were not bad.
Anyway, so let's see who advances.
The first group is The Rhinestone Ropers, Thomas John and Silhouettes. Do I even need to tell you how this one goes? Let's be serious. The little girls going absolutely out of their minds is pretty darn cute, though.
In the Orville Lounge bit, which is usually pretty dumb, Nick Cannon is super cute with the youngest Silhouettes member, asking if it's past her bedtime and then saying, "If y'all need help, I do a mean bunny" and he mimes a little bunny with his hand.

Last week on "America's Got Talent," we saw Anna Graceman, Sandou Trio Russian bar, Snap Boogie and the Miami All-Stars advance. Who will go through this week? Also - what in God's name is Nick Cannon wearing tonight? Somewhere Craig Sager is taking notes.
1. Attack Dance Crew
The crew tonight dances in some fun neon and black tracksuit things and their routine is much trickier than I remember them doing in the past. They work the musical cues very well and the stunts are neat, plus everybody is really synchronized in the wide shots. Good start to the show. Not the most amazing thing I've ever seen, but very solid. First, Piers rightly calls out Nick on his outfit. Hee. But Piers also says it was a bit of a mess in parts. Hmph. Sharon pans them a bit too. I wonder why I liked them so much. I really...

When we last left "America's Got Talent" Tuesday night, the judges had put through 30 or so acts from their Favorites category. Now it's the Stand-By acts turns to show their stuff and hopefully get one of the last 20 spots.
The Magicians are up first with a guy who looks like Ron Jeremy trying to twirl a staff and continually dropping it. How did he get through? A snake charmer magician's trick isn't quite ready in time. But Landon Swank finally nails it with a cool levitation trick. Seth Grabel tries to follow with a very elaborate show full of many tricks and it's pretty neat, except for one mishap. He could maybe still go through.
The Kids category, which is probably just going to kill me dead, is Lil T the dancing 6-year-old. He's cute, but it's all the same stuff he did in his audition. Avery and the Calico Hearts are next.

The first third of the three-hour "America's Got Talent"-palooza had the show finally wrapping up the audition phase, which, frankly, is our least favorite part of the process, so thank God in the last two hours we could move on to the Las Vegas rounds.
The judges kick off Vegas by being just a teensy bit mean to a group of 10 acts that are actually automatically through to the live Hollywood rounds without having to perform in Vegas. The acts through automatically are Silhouettes, Squawk Opera, Lys Agnes, Professor Splash, The Rhinestone Ropers, Fearless Flores Family, Melissa Villasenor, Captain Stab Tuggo and Mabel, Team iLuminate and Miami All-Stars.
With the rest of the acts, they are either a Judges' Favorite or a Stand-By. Faves get to perform Day 1, the Stand-Bys are for the second day. They are also grouped according to being similar acts.
