Ombis is a new sci-fi thriller from DefTone Pictues Studios. DefTone is a recently constructed production company based in Hamburg, New York. They have completed several horror productions including: Bitez and Gore. Their latest feature, Ombis puts two warring alien species on Earth's fragile soil. In the crossfire are the residents of Metzburgh. Who will win when the goo flies? Fans will have to take a look at the film's trailer to find the answer to that question. In the clip, a viscous green fluid coats characters. Those exposed to this slime become infected with Ombis, an alien disease. Director Adam R. Steigert dropped us a line today and shared some new exclusive stills from Ombis, the 1950’s style alien invasion film he and DefTone Pictures Studios currently have in production.

Ombis is based on a short story by Steigert and was written by him, Janeen Avery, Mark Mendola, and Terry Kimmel. The cast features Richard Satterwhite (Sheriff Thomas Brackett), Sara Manzella (Lucy), Jason John Beebe (Mark), Melyssa Jade (Savannah), Alexander Sloan McBryde (Mr. Gray), and Richard Winiatowski (Nemesis).

Synopsis:

Ombis is a 1950’s style alien invasion film in which a life form crash lands in Metzburgh, a village whose glory days are long past.
