FX has released a second full trailer for Noah Hawley's Alien: Earth, and in addition to giving us a glimpse of the show's redesigned Xenomorph, we get to see some of the other "monsters" Sydney Chandler's human/android hybrid soldier Wendy and the other protagonists will face
The Xeno only appears right at the end of the teaser (and at a distance), but it appears to have retained the classic look of the iconic creature for the most part.
During a new interview with Collider, Hawley explained why he was hesitant to deviate too much from the original design, and "didn't want to mess with the silhouette of the creature at all.”
“I always felt like it was the least effective when it looked like a guy in a suit. You know what I mean? So there are elements, like in the classic, there's just this big ribcage,...

Happy Alien Day!
Two new teasers for Noah Hawley's Alien: Earth have been released online. One spotlights the gestation cycle of a Xenomorph (in graphic detail), while the other reveals that the iconic acid-blooded beasts are not the only extraterrestrial threat our planet will face in the series!
According to the voiceover, “five different lifeforms from the darkest corners of the universe — each one a unique, deadly species” were chosen to bring back to Earth for study (never a good idea).
We don't get a proper look at the other lifeforms in the crates, but this doesn't sound like five different variations or subspecies of Xenomorph. A group of brand-new alien creatures would certainly prove to be an intriguing and unexpected addition to this series.
Check out the promos below along with a new poster, and let us know what you think in the comments section.
Incoming report from Weyland-Yutani: Critical Gestation Complete.

Following some brief promos, FX has finally released a full teaser for Noah Hawley's Alien: Earth, which begins with the first clip from the upcoming sci-fi horror series.
The footage finds a man sitting in a very Nostromo-esque control room as his crewmate desperately tries to convince him to open the door and let her in. The woman then turns to face whatever has been stalking her, and we get a first look at one of the show's Xenomorphs on the attack.
Hawley has hinted that the series will introduce a new breed of the iconic creature, though it's difficult to make out any significant changes to the classic design here.
As the Xeno dispatches its victim, the man - possibly the ship's android - tells the computer that the crew is dead. Though we don't know for sure, we assume this is what remains of the crew of the Uscss Maginot,...

While we're still waiting on a full trailer, FX recently released some snippets of new footage (see below) for Noah Hawley's Alien: Earth, and we now have a series of short "Secret Transmission" teasers which appear to document the events that lead to the Uscss Maginot crash-landing on Earth.
There are quite a few classic Alien callbacks here, including very familiar computer sounds, garbled transmissions, interiors that look quite a bit like the Nostromo from Ridley Scott's film, and a cat that could very easily pass for Jonesy.
The first clip begins with a crew member fixing a camera to the cat's head, and our new feline friend ends up recording some kind of red alert event that sends the crew into a panic. We also see someone in a cryosleep pod, and we're willing to bet that this guy is just bursting to get off the ship...

Alien: Earth is set two years before the events of the 1979 film Alien in 2120 when five corporations – Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic and Threshold – wield the power of nations, and proprietary advancements in technology provide the promise of a new tomorrow.

Emily in Paris provides audiences with plenty of heartfelt romance and quirky drama, much like several other shows that have released over the years. Emily in Paris tells the story of Emily, a marketing executive who travels to Paris to offer an American perspective at a French marketing firm. While abroad, Emily not only makes friends, but meets some dreamy love interests. All of this culminates in a show that is chic, colorful, bubbly, and all-around entertaining.
Luckily, there are plenty of television series that follow the same path as Emily in Paris. The best romantic comedies to watch after Emily in Paris are those that have the same sense of youthful fun and mistake-making. Emily is trying to do big things, and as a result, events don't always go entirely to plan. There are many shows that evoke this same feeling of independence, trial and error, and trying new things.

Editor’s note: Deadline’s It Starts on the Page features standout limited or anthology series scripts in 2024 Emmy contention.
Typically a series five seasons in can show signs of wear and tear. However, for Fargo creator Noah Hawley a fifth time was a charm, not just in a stronger homage to the original 1996 multi-Oscar winning movie, but a deconstruction of current day red-state attitudes. For him, Fargo is about the tragedy that occurs when people fail to communicate, and this season centers around the varying definitions of freedom. Not to mention, it features several twists and turns one doesn’t see coming.
Season 5 follows Juno Temple as Dot Lyon, a housewife with a dark past who is mired in warring America, for Episode 1 tees off with a riot that breaks out at a school board meeting which results in the show’s protagonist tasing an officer and heading to...
