After competing on multiple big reality shows, and doing pretty well on each of them, there's a fan-favorite reality star trying her hand at hosting duties for the first time! Hulu has a new unscripted series titled Love Overboard, and is bringing on a pretty familiar face to many of us who like the entertaining TV genre to lead us through the episodes.
Former The Bachelorette and Traitors star Gabby Windey is getting the chance to host her very own reality show with Love Overboard on Hulu! She's best known for first appearing on The Bachelor season 26, and was the co-runner up in Clayton Echard's season. Then, for the very first time, The Bachelorette season 19 saw her co-lead the season to find love alongside her fellow co-runner up from Echard's installment, Rachel Recchia.

For years, Bravo has had a lock on the traditional reality series with its Real Housewives universe, a franchise that has spawned 12 shows, nine of which are still on the air, as well as 25 standalone spinoffs.
But over the last year or two, The Walt Disney Company has been quietly building its own reality world, particularly on Hulu, one that it hopes can rival the NBCUniversal cabler, leaning into prettier young things that can flit between shows and flirt between casts.
This was evidenced by Hulu’s Get Real event on Tuesday night at Casa Lago – a sprawling estate in Beverly Hills with a private lake and polo arena – that saw cast members of shows such as The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, The Kardashians, Love Thy Nader and Got To Get Out mix with the likes of Call Her Daddy’s Alex Cooper, executive producer of boat dating show Overboard For Love,...

Val Chmerkovskiy looked back at his performances. Some of them were difficult. The Dancing with the Stars professional dancer had to perform while mourning a tragic loss.

Us Weekly reported that Chmerkovskiy looked back at some of his performances. On Sunday, March 31, he posted an impromptu performance with his brother, Maks, on his Instagram Stories. He had to go through with the performance after his wife, Jenna Johnson, suffered a miscarriage. It was a difficult decision since he didn’t want to leave his wife alone. Dancing with the Stars has become an iconic staple in the landscape of reality television. The show sees famous faces, from reality stars to singers, competing for the Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy. The series premiered in 2005 and has gone on to be a huge hit, running for over 30 seasons.
After appearing on Disney Channel’s Shake It Up, Zendaya competed on Season 16 of DWTS and gained exposure to an entirely new audience. Her success on the competition series is arguably what led to her major roles in films such as The Greatest Showman, Challengers, the Dune series and the Spider-Man franchise.
However, despite making it all the way to the finale, Zendaya lost the competition to Kellie Pickler. Even though she would go on to win a ton of awards and have huge success, Zendaya recently revealed she is still upset about losing the hit dance competition.

It is almost impossible to think of Dancing With The Stars without thinking of longtime pro Val Chmerkovskiy, with his whole entire family looped into the show we know and love.
After all, his brother, Maks Chmerkovskiy, and his wife, Jenna Johnson, are – or should we say were? – also DWTS pros.
For those who are unfamiliar, Val has been a pro on Dancing With The Stars since Season 13 — only taking a break during Season 26 — and he has secured the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy on three separate occasions: During Season 20 with Rumer Willis, Season 23 with Laurie Hernandez, and Season 32 with Xochitl Gomez.
When failing to emerge victorious, the 38-year-old has placed in the top three on numerous occasions as well, with partners like Zendaya, Gabby Windey, Kelly Monaco, Janel Parrish, Ginger Zee, and more.
With a track record like this one, some may say he is the best of the best.

Zendaya is undoubtedly the multi-talented megastar who has taken Hollywood by storm with her talent and versatility across various mediums – from acting and modeling to singing and even dancing. However, it seems that her foray into the world of reality TV over a decade ago has left a lasting imprint on her, one that she’s still harboring a “little animosity” over to this day.
Back in 2013, Zendaya graced the ballroom on the 16th season of Dancing With the Stars and dazzled audiences with her dancing prowess. The duo’s chemistry took them all the way to the two-night finale, where they showcased a range of dance styles from samba to freestyle and the jive. Not everyone can win in a contest. As for the long-running ballroom competition Dancing With The Stars, only one contestant walks away with the Mirrorball Trophy.
Over the course of 33 seasons, there have been many runner-ups that viewers felt deserved the trophy more than the winning participants. Most notably, Bobby Bones’ win over Milo Manheim in Season 27.
But in a new interview, one runner-up admitted they still felt a little angry over their own loss. See what they had to say.

Zendaya still thinks about her 2013 stint on “Dancing with the Stars.” The runner-up on Season 16 of the ABC dance competition series told W in a recent interview that she wished she had not taken the show as seriously as she did at the time.

Val Chmerkovskiy appeared on DWTS occasionally before becoming a full-time pro in Season 13. His older brother Maks Chmerkovskiy was already well-established as a pro dancer at that point.

Val Chmerkovskiy had to experience some early humbling during his career on Dancing with the Stars.
The 38-year-old professional dancer is Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s brother and began appearing on the show in various capacities in Season 2.
Val officially joined ABC’s competition series as a pro dancer in 2011’s Season 13 alongside model Elisabetta Canalis.
However, he entered the competition thinking he was above the others and had an early exit that season.
It took him until his eighth season to finally succeed, as he and Rumer Willis won the Mirrorball Trophy in Season 20.
Since then, he’s won it twice more and said some early growing pains helped him develop into the professional he is on the show.

The Bachelor alum Kelsey Anderson seemed to change dramatically after her fiancé Joey Graziadei's Dancing With The Stars stint, and maybe defending him all the time is making her too bold and brazen. Joey won the show after giving some amazing performances. While Joey danced his heart out, and rightfully won, his time on the show was plagued with controversy. Kelsey was taunted by fans who wondered if she was jealous of his stunning dance partner, Jenna Johnson, who's married to DWTS icon, Valentin Chmerkovskiy
Kelsey is such a beautiful woman - she has a very natural look. She doesn't seem to rely on hair dye or plastic surgery to look good. There's something refreshing about how unspoiled her beauty is. Kelsey doesn't need to feel inferior to any other woman. Joey chose her because he fell in love with her. However, few could argue that Joey has a gorgeous dance partner.

Dancing With the Stars sees one or two showmances season after season. However, Season 33 might have been the most talked about when it comes to romances between a professional dancer and their celebrity partner. Viewers watched and got confused about the on-again, off-again relationship between pro Gleb Savchenko and model Brooks Nader, and the possible romantic pairing that was Sasha Farber and Jenn Tran, that still remains a mystery as of this writing.
There's no doubt that chemistry is a must when it comes to getting far on DWTS. And, that intense chemistry has sometimes resulted in some couples becoming more than just dance partners. However, for pro Val Chmerkovskiy, seeing a pro and their celeb partner develop something more is "incredibly unprofessional" in his eyes, especially if it isn't "authentic."
Val has had his fair share of showmances during his lengthy career with DWTS, so he's not really one to talk.

They weren't lying when they said Dancing With The Stars is one big, happy family.
It is clear that the cast of the beloved competition series is incredibly close with one another, with some of the show's pros having danced with one another since they were children.
Some of them are so close, they've even fallen in love, such as Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov and Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy (just to name a few).
Two pros who have developed quite the bond are Lindsay Arnold and Sasha Farber.
Where did this bond come from, though? Waterparks.
For those who are unfamiliar, Lindsay was a pro on Dancing With The Stars for 10 seasons — winning the coveted Mirrorball Trophy once alongside actor Jordan Fisher — before stepping away from the spotlight to start a family. Leaving the show in 2021, Lindsay now dedicates her time to raising her two daughters, Sage and June,...

Jenna Johnson celebrated her latest Dancing with the Stars victory with an iconic Wicked dance, which dazzled fans and received attention from the blockbuster movie.
Jenna recently claimed the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy alongside The Bachelor star Joey Graziadei, as they finished ahead of runner-up pair Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten.
In the show’s finale, viewers saw Jenna and Joey capture a perfect score for their Cha-cha-cha set to Justin Timberlake’s hit, Can’t Stop the Feeling!, and a near-perfect score for their freestyle.
Once DWTS counted the final votes, Jenna won her second season of the eight she’s appeared in.
It brought plenty of praise and congratulations her way, but the celebration hasn’t ended quite yet.
Earlier this week, the DWTS pro uploaded a clip of herself carrying the sparkly hardware to display more of her impressive skills.
