Catherine Deneuve Out of Hospital After Stroke (Report)
Catherine Deneuve
Catherine Deneuve has returned to her Paris home after more than a month in the hospital and at a rest home following a mild stroke, according to French report. The French screen icon was seen out and about by her neighbors in the Saint Germain arrondissement of Paris.

Deneuve, 76, had what her family called a “very limited” ischemic stroke – an incident caused by reduced blood flow to the brain – on Nov. 6 while filming the movie “De Son Vivant.” The stroke occurred while Deneuve was shooting a scene in a hospital in Gonesse, near Paris, which made it possible for her to receive medical care immediately. She was taken to Salpetriere hospital, which specializes in treating strokes, and was then moved to the private Hospital Fondation Adolphe de Rothschild in northern Paris. In the last couple weeks or so, she had been staying in a rest home outside of Paris.

Tokyo International Film Festival – Winners 2015
The 28th edition of the Tokyo International Film Festival took place from the 22th until the 31th of October in the great city of Tokyo. This ten day event is the only Japanese film festival accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (Fiapf). It started in 1985 and since then it became one of the most important festival in the world. The festival offers the audience a great chance to see the very best film from around the world and bring them the best national productions.

The 19th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (Nov 13-29) has revealead the line-up for the inaugural edition of its new programme: the Tridens First Features competition.

In total, there will be 14 world and international premieres shown, all helmed by debut directors, selected from diverse regions including Colombia, Australia and Iran.

The Colombian title be the world premiere of Delivery, the first feature from director Martin Mejira Rugeles. The film, shot on 16mm, follows a pregnant woman who lives in a remote village in a forest.

The Australian title is the international premiere of Pawno. Set in Melbourne, director Paul Ireland’s debut looks at an eclectic selection of the city’s inhabitants, all of whom are desperately looking for love.
