In addition to her work in entertainment, Gabrielle Birchak is a public speaker, award-winning pundit, author, science writer, and host of the podcast Math Science History.
In 2008, after receiving over 18,000 votes and votes from entertainment industry judges, Gabrielle won an online American Idol-like competition through Project Breakout. Contending against hundreds of pundits in a U.S.- and Canadian-wide competition, Gabrielle won the position of Field Reporter at the Democratic National Convention.
From the east coast to the west coast, she has been performing in professional theater and jazz bands since 1982. During the Bush to Obama years, Gabrielle spent her time living and working in Washington DC, where she was a contributing writer to DC Metro Magazine, a comedian on the east coast circuit, and the host of the show Gab's Blabs.
