Mumbai, Nov 20 (Ians) Former India captain Kapil Dev was not in the favour of making the film 83 initially, and says he was scared when he got to know that Bollywood star couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh would his life story alive on the big screen.

Asked about his wife Romi and his reaction on learning that Ranveer and Deepika would be playing them in the film, Kapil said: "I was a little scared. I thought he is an actor. You are copying somebody of sports and athleticism. Does he have that much? But, when I spent time with him, I was amazed how much time he spent. New Delhi, Nov 13 (Ians) Weeks after undergoing angioplasty, former India captain Kapil Dev on Friday informed he is all hearty and healthy as his "heart is working good".

Last month, Kapil suffered a cardiac arrest and subsequently underwent an angioplasty at the Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in the national capital.

"Happy Dipawali to everybody and I hope this year brings lots and lots of happiness to everybody. Thanks for your wishes. I am healthy and happy. Heart is working good but I want to wish everybody lots and lots of happiness around the world," India's first World Cup-winning captain said in a video posted on his official Twitter handle.

On Thursday, the 61-year-old got back to playing golf with 20 days. He had shared a video playing golf with his friends at the Delhi Golf Club.

Mumbai, Oct 19 (Ians) Actor Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Rohit Shetty are all set to reunite to adapt Shakespearean comedy for the Bollywood screen.

Titled "Cirkus", their new collaboration is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's play "The Comedy Of Errors", with Ranveer essaying a double role.

The play has already been adapted in Bollywood by Gulzar as "Angoor" (1982), starring Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Verma, and the Bimal Roy-produced "Do Dooni Chaar" (1968), starring Kishore Kumar and Asit Sen.

Besides Ranveer in the lead, Shetty's film also features Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma.

Pankaj Tripathi has started shooting for "'83" despite an injury that he suffered when he fell off a motorbike. The actor says a physiotherapist on the film's set is helping him out with the pain.

A day before Pankaj was to leave for vacation, he had an accident riding a motorcycle. He complained of pain in his abdominal area and was diagnosed with three fractured ribs during a medical check-up.

"I am taking precautions by not lifting weights, no sudden and harsh movements to avoid stress on ribs. I am taking all precautionary measures to prevent stress on ribs. Even the crew is taking care as not to give me scenes or shots that will require physical stress," Pankaj said.

"As actors, we should be more alert. I was careful, but accidents can happen anytime and anywhere," the actor said.

He said the cast and crew of "'83" is taking good care of him.
