The Crawler will keep on crawling through the streets of Tokyo for at least one more season. Today, the popular anime series My Hero Academia: Vigilantes has been renewed for Season 2. The announcement was made after the spin-off series aired its 13th episode in Japan. Along with the renewal, Crunchyroll announced that it will continue to roll out new episodes simultaneously with the Japanese release, and the new episodes are set to debut in 2026. A short teaser was unveiled with the announcement, and you can check it out in this article.

It's a bit early to tell the arcs that My Hero Academia: Vigilantes will cover, but fans of the manga series by Hideyuki Furuhashi already have an idea of which direction Koichi (voiced by Shūichirō Umeda in the original Japanese and by Jack Broadbent in the English dub), Knuckleduster (Yasuhiro Mamiya/Jason Marnocha) and Pop☆Step (Ikumi Hasegawa/Macy Anne Johnson) will go.

When My Hero Academia: Vigilantes started, the new spin-off made it clear that the connections with the flagship anime series would be numerous and direct. The very first episode kicks off with All Might (voiced by Kenta Miyake in the original Japanese and by Christopher Sabat in the English dub), just as an example of it. However, fans didn't expect the new show to provide some deeper connections so soon, and this happened in the latest episode. From the looks of it, the show has just revealed the origin story of a high-profile villain — Stain, the Hero Killer.

Even though he goes by a different name (Stendhal) and sports a different look in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, there are some connections with the My Hero Academia villain. They start with the use of red in his outfit and the character's preference for katanas — a trademark of Stain in the original show.

My Hero Academia fans have nothing to complain about. While they wait for the eighth and final season of the hit anime series, they can enjoy the brand-new spin-off series My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. The story takes place before the events of the flagship series and, while fans already expected some familiar faces to pop up, the debut episode brought a cameo that no one saw coming – Deku is present in the spin-off, but not in the way you think.

Also known as Izoku Midoriya, the protagonist of My Hero Academia was not expected to be a part of Vigilantes because, in this new time, he is too young and powerless to integrate with a group of superheroes. As of Saturday, April 6 with the streaming debut of episodes 1123 and 1124, One Piece is back, bringing fans around the world the second half of the Egghead Island arc. New episodes go live on Saturdays and stream first for international audiences on Crunchyroll.

One Punch Man is one of the biggest anime TV shows out right now!

Based on the Japanese superhero manga series created by One, the anime adaptation produced by Madhouse was broadcast in Japan from October to December 2015, with the second season debuting from April to July 2019.

Due to its popularity, the series aired its first season in the United States on Adult Swim‘s Toonami from July to October 2016, followed by Season 2 from October 2019 to January 2020.

Season 3 of One-Punch Man is confirmed and expected to premiere in 2025, although there is not a release date yet.

In February of 2024, a teaser for Season 3 was revealed, confirming that the show’s third season was in production.

Jack Quaid shared on his personal Instagram that he has begun recording voice lines for My Adventures with Superman Season 3. The animated series holds a perfect approval rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, higher than Season 1's 96% approval rating. Season 2 is also getting high marks from viewers, sitting with an audience score of 92%. That's similarly higher than the current audience score for Season 1, which is 82%.

Following the highly positive reaction to the first season of Adult Swim's My Adventures With Superman animated series, the network has announced that season 2 is set to premiere on Saturday, May 25.

The show returns to Toonami with two back-to-back episodes at midnight Et/Pt, followed by one new instalment every Saturday. New episodes will also stream Sundays on Max.

Warner Bros. Animation has also debuted the first trailer, which finds the Man of Steel, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen continuing their adventures in Metropolis, as the trio is forced to contend with the emerging threat of Lex Luthor and several other supervillains.

The latest Transformers movie may have received a critical drubbing, but that isn't going to stop Machinima's online-only animated output.

Transformers: Titans Return will be the next short series from Machinima. It will follow on from Combiner Wars, which has apparently garnered over 125 million views worldwide since its debut last year.

An impressive, geek-friendly cast has been assembled for the series. The original Optimus Prime voice actor, Peter Cullen, is joining the show, as is Judd Nelson, who voiced Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime in the 1986 animated movie.

Alongside these veteran Autobot voice boxes, fans will also get to hear Michael Dorn as Fortress Maximus, Wil Wheaton as Perceptor, Nolan North as Metroplex and Jason David Frank as Emissary. Exciting times!
