Maria Bello Files for Divorce from Wife Dominique Crenn After One Year of Marriage

Maria Bello is getting a divorce from wife Dominique Crenn after one year of marriage.

TMZ reports that the 58-year-old Coyote Ugly actress filed for divorce from the 60-year-old celebrity chef on Wednesday (May 28).

The date of separation is listed as April 7 and she listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

Maria and Dominique got engaged in December 2019 and then tied the knot in May 2024 in a romantic wedding in Mexico. There were plenty of celebs – including Patricia Arquette, Mariska Hargitay, and Gavin Rossdale – in attendance at the wedding.

The divorce documents note that Maria wants “orders for spousal support are to be determined by a written agreement of the parties.”

Maria shares her son Jackson with former boyfriend Dan McDermott, but she doesn’t have children with Dominique.

It’s Anya Taylor-Joy’s world. We are just living in it. Her latest film, The Gorge, recently became Apple TV+’s biggest launch. The streaming giant doesn’t normally disclose specific numbers, but exceptions tend to be made for Number 1, which was the case with the new flick. A recent report by Deadline reveals that the film has driven double-digit growth globally for the streaming service and boosted new viewership figures by over 80% since its debut on Friday, February 14. Impressive!

Taylor-Joy has been on a roll in the 2020s, wowing fans with her performances in Peaky Blinders, The Northman, Amsterdam, Super Mario Bros. Movie, and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Ever since Netflix announced it would be opening a Los Angeles pop-up restaurant, the jokes have been flying on social media. Would the servers use an algorithm to ask, “Since you liked grilled cheese, can we suggest broccoli?” Would you be allowed to share food with your friends or would it be forbidden, like Netflix password-sharing?

But at the preview night Tuesday for Netflix Bites at Short Stories Hotel on Fairfax, it was clear that the seriously delicious menu for the three-month pop-up, inspired by the streamer’s food programming, was no laughing matter. Imaginative cocktails from mixologists, like “Drink Masters” contestant Kate Gerwin, got guests in the mood with concoctions like the Oaxacan on Top of the World, while Netflix co-ceo Ted Sarandos mingled with the chefs. US approves sale of lab-grown chicken in a landmark decision

San Francisco, June 22 (Ians) In a significant decision, the US Department of Agriculture (Usda) has approved the sale of cultivated or lab-grown chicken in the country.

Good Meat, the cultivated meat division of food technology company Eat Just, announced that it has received approval from the Usda for its first poultry product, cultivated chicken, to enter interstate commerce.

This landmark clearance means the firm’s chicken, which is made directly from animal cells, can now be sold to American consumers.

“This announcement that we’re now able to produce and sell cultivated meat in the US is a major moment for our company, the industry and the food system,” said Josh Tetrick, co-founder and CEO of Good Meat and Eat Just.

Would you binge eat your favorite binge watch?

Netflix is going to put that to the test, as it expands into an entirely new category: the restaurant business.

Netflix will launch a pop-up restaurant in Los Angeles on June 30. Called Netflix Bites, the food concept will be built around an “elevated dining experience” featuring chefs featured in various Netflix shows.

Among the chefs participating are Curtis Stone, Ming Tsai and Andrew Zimmern of Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend; Dominique Crenn of Chef’s Table and Iron Chef; Rodney Scott and Ann Kim of Chef’s Table; Nadiya Hussain of Nadiya Bakes; and Jacques Torres of Nailed It! Filming The Menu Was A 'Hanxious' Experience For Anya Taylor-Joy

There's nothing more annoying than going on a first date and having your dining partner for the night continually mock and belittle the things you are personally passionate about. It's almost as if they flat-out refuse to try and connect with you from across the table, which is the very thing they supposedly agreed to attempt when they decided to go out with you in the first place. In "The Menu," that situation is completely reversed. Anya Taylor-Joy plays the joyfully disenfranchised Margot (probably not her real name) whose disinterest in the finer things in life -- and, by association, her insufferable food-obsessed dinner date Tyler (Nicholas Hoult) -- makes her undeniably cool. 

Tyler's efforts to impress Margot by taking her to a remote fine dining experience catered by the legendary Chef Slowik (Ralph Fiennes) are completely ignored, as is the delectable amuse-bouche they receive on the boat ride over to the exclusive Hawthorne restaurant.

10 Meal-Centered Horror Films To Watch After The Menu

Warning: This article contains major spoilers for "The Menu."

Following in the class-conscious footsteps of horror comedy films like "Ready or Not" and "The Hunt," "The Menu" serves its viewers a deliciously deranged takedown of society's elite members. Centered around an exclusive dining experience on a private island, Chef Julian (Ralph Fiennes) has decided his craft (and life) will no longer be ruled by the demanding whims of wealthy people. With each course, Julian's remaining grip on reality and sanity loosens. By the film's end, he and his burnt-out crew literally go up in flames, damning his impossible-to-please clientele along the way. Director Mark Mylod crafts an impeccably paced film — something the fictional Julian would appreciate — that dials up its tension through each foreboding frame.

Pairing "The Menu" with other horror films about food is an unenviable task. No horror comedy movie balances its thrills, dark humor, and food design as well as Mylod's work.

At first glance, "The Menu" appears to be about a group of rich folk digesting a series of delectable dishes that you'll never be able to afford. But once they're gathered at the secluded Hawthorne establishment, they're at the mercy of Chef Slowik and his army of cooks, who have an eventful evening planned for them. Everything I've seen so far regarding Mark Mylod's dark comedy has only intrigued me further as to what the mystery behind the delicious madness could be.

Last month, Searchlight Pictures unveiled two posters for their darkly comedic psychological thriller The Menu, which is set to reach theatres on November 18th. Just like “Iron Chef,” Alton Brown is synonymous with Food Network. But now, both the beloved show and the celebrity chef have moved to Netflix for a new version of the competition series that will be co-hosted by Brown.

With Netflix’s “Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend,” which premiered this week, Brown has officially departed from his long tenure at Food Network, where he was a staple for 21 years.

Peacock released the trailer for Season 2 of “Rutherford Falls,” which premieres all eight of its episodes on June 16. Netflix announced Wednesday that the latest series in the cooking franchise, “Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend” will debut June 15.

The series will see five new Iron Chefs welcome their Challengers to the reimagined Kitchen Stadium, where they’ll face off and be pushed to the limits of endurance and creativity, as they cook up extraordinary culinary creations. The competition’s most successful Challenger will return to battle in a grand finale for the chance to be named the first-ever “Iron Legend.”

A trailer for the upcoming series, which you can watch above, promises plenty of innovation and exploding flavors in the recipes that each chef will whip up.

Discovery upfront on Wednesday, while unveiling the first teaser of the film. The doc will follow the singer, songwriter, rapper, flutist and actor from her humble beginnings to her history-making career in music and culture, as she balances the challenges of stardom.
