Cameroonian-born Actress/Writer Sahndra Fon Dufe (Saa'ndrah Fon-du-fey) is best-known for creating the Yefon Trilogy; the legend of an illiterate village girl who sparks up a literary revolution in Central Africa in the 1960s. It is due to premiere on the silver screen in 2015, with Fon Dufe stepping into the lead role. The film in the making will star Isaiah Washington, Adriana Barazza, Jimmy Jean Louis, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Leleti Khumalo, Uti Nwachukwu and many others; it will also feature original music from the seven-time Grammy nominated singer Kelly Price as well as involvement from some Focus Features executives.

Fon Dufe is also known for her stellar performances in blockbuster International Nollywood movies such as Frank Rajah's "Refugees" alongside Yvonne Nelson; "One Night in Vegas" alongside Jimmy Jean Louis, Michael Blackson, Van Vicker, Sarodj Bertin, John Dumelo and Yvonne Nelson; "Unconditional Love" with John Dumelo and few others including "Lost in Abroad", "Standing The Rain", "Two Princes", "The Successor of Katunga" and "Bad Accent".

Fon Dufe was born in Bamenda, Cameroon on October 28, 1989. She grew up with her two brothers, Glenn and Serge, a cousin Vanessa, foster brother Gideon (RIP), and her parents Dr. Lydia and Colonel Gilbert Fondufe.

Known to her friends and family as "sandy mama", ''sandiri'' or ''sku'', Fon Dufe moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career at the end of 2010, after starring in a few local Cameroonian movies, and plays. Before she became an actress, she was a professional dancer, sorority president, Law student, writer and student journalist.

Perhaps her most well-known work to date is her role as "Mildred" in the award winning movie 'One Night In Vegas'. Her career began when she dabbled on to a local film set, during her first year in Buea University in Cameroon, where she was studying law. She was 17 years old at the time. After scoring a few small film roles, she moved to Los Angeles so she could further pursue her dream. She arrived in the U.S at the end of 2010, and was cast in the Nollywood movie Lost in Abroad, and short films like Standing Tall and Bad Accent.

Fon Dufe's big break came when she played Mildred in 'One Night in Vegas', which earned her a lot of respect in the industry, and landed her subsequent roles, like the lead role of Kwuni in 'Unconditional Love'(2013) and Yurika in 'Refugees' (2014).

Fon Dufe can also be seen in Black November, The Successor of Katunga and Lost in Abroad.

The young author, actress, humanitarian and business mogul is above all else, a woman on a mission.

At a mere 22 years of age she opened her own production company; the revolutionary African Pictures International and has continued to work towards exposing the history, culture and truth of Africa, women in general and the spirit within.

The Meisner trained actress and graduate of the New York Film Academy, once entertained her family and friends and school mates is now entertaining the world.

Fon Dufe partnered with the American Embassy in Yaoundé, Cameroon and two other companies to bring "Know our Craft" International workshop, which is designed to train artists all over Africa. You can catch on to her on TV commercial for the American Cancer Society with Jeri Ryan from Body of Lies.

Fon Dufe presently lives in Los Angeles. She has a soft spot for rescued kittens and antique Egyptian furniture, both of which clutter her home more than they should.
