Cinedigm has released the first clip from their new thriller Open Windows, starring Elijah Wood and Sasha Grey. The scene features Nick (Elijah Wood) unwittingly spying on actress Jill Goddard (Sasha Grey), who is the target of a sinister hacker. Director Nacho Vigalondo uses a unique visual language with webcams and surveillance video to tell a nail-biting story in real time, all from the framework of the laptop of Elijah Wood's character. When Jill refuses to go out with Nick, a series of events are set into play that actually expose a plot to have the Hollywood starlet executed. Watch as Nick goes on a wild chase to save the woman, using his computer and various other 'open windows' to stop the manic plans devised by Chord, a man posing as Jill's campaign manager. It's a wild cat and mouse action thriller directed by cult favorite Nacho Vigalondo (Timecrimes; Extraterrestrial).
