Matt Cohen Brings Together His ‘Supernatural’ Castmates for Adult Animated ‘Public Domain’
Image
A decade ago, actor/director Matt Cohen and his filmmaking partner Sean Flanagan had an idea to make an animated comedy series about a group of over-the-hill legendary characters hanging out in a Cheers-like bar called Public Domain. “The regulars at this Hollywood watering hole were all once famous characters that have fallen into the public domain,” says Cohen, who played young John Winchester on Supernatural and directed the final-season episode “Give Me Shelter.” “They drink together and wait for the opportunity to be rediscovered, and rebooted by Tinseltown,” Cohen explains. “We’ve never asked the question, when life gets hard, where do they go and how do they deal with it? It’s essentially the look at every actor in Hollywood told by a favorite animated character. We’ll see what they’re doing in their 40s-60s, post their Hollywood careers.” According to Cohen, there are about “200 public...

Supernatural’s One Hunter Was Supposed to Be a Blink-and-Miss Nobody
Image
Supernatural has no shortage of brilliant characters, but the core Winchester family has always occupied a pretty special place in the hearts of fans. But what if we tell you one Winchester was only meant to have a cameo appearance? Well, that is right, as Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s John was only supposed to be in the pilot episode.

Having just a single flashback, Morgan recalled in a chat with Variety, “there wasn’t a lot for me to do… this’ll be a job that I’ll work a couple of days and go on to the next thing.” However, as luck would have it, John Winchester not only appeared in the first season, but he did make several appearances over the course of 15 seasons of the show.

Jensen Ackles talks reuniting with Supernatural costars on The Boys
Image
Now that The Boys is about to wrap up with its fifth and final season (scheduled for release in 2026), star Jensen Ackles — who plays the morally challenged superhero Soldier Boy — has been reflecting fondly on the filming experience, especially since it reunited him with his Supernatural co-stars Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins, who played Sam Winchester and the angel Castiel on The CW show.

For The Boys, Padalecki and Collins joined the series in guest roles, though details regarding who they will play are being kept under wraps. Speaking with People, Ackles revealed that seeing them again on a new set was a little "weird," almost like "inviting my friends over to somebody else's house for dinner." He jokingly added that he didn't want them to make him "look bad" in front of his new friends!

Even though the long-running CW series ended after 15 seasons and a whopping 327 episodes in...

I Just Realized Supernatural’s Most Irritating Character Was Never the One You’d Expect
Image
Supernatural gave us plenty of characters to roll our eyes at. From whiny angels to stubborn demons, the show never lacked personality clashes. But after years of re-watching, I’ve realized that the most irritating character isn’t who you’d think. It’s not Crowley, not even Lucifer. It’s Adam Milligan.

Yes, the forgotten half-brother of Sam and Dean. The character who showed up late and disappeared for a long time. He felt like an unwanted side quest in a main story about loyalty and sacrifice. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that maybe he wasn’t irritating. Maybe he was just a failed character.

Adam Milligan, the long-lost half-brother of Sam and Dean Winchester, has long been a point of contention for fans.

Supernatural on Prime Video Hid This Gut-Wrenching Parallel in Dean’s Breakdown Scene
Image
Dean Winchester has always been big on action, not emotion. But in Season 2 of Supernatural, Episode 2 titled “Everybody Loves a Clown”, we see his tough exterior crack in an unusual, devastating moment of vulnerability. After John Winchester sacrifices himself to save Dean’s life after a car accident, the younger Winchester spirals. He becomes emotionally numb and unable to cope with feelings of anger, guilt, and grief.

What appears as a moment of raw rage- Dean hitting the Impala with a crowbar- masks a deeper, emotionally loaded act. It’s not just a fit of rage; it’s a metaphorical act of self-harm. The show ever-so-subtly highlights this intricate layer of emotional turmoil, making the scene all the more haunting for viewers.

Before Negan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan Credits This Character for Giving Him a Career (& It's Not Supernatural)
Image
Nowadays, Jeffrey Dean Morgan's most defining character is Negan from The Walking Dead. He made his debut halfway through the series and, after the show's finale, he received a spinoff show, The Walking Dead: Dead City.

However, before he began Negan, and even John Winchester on Supernatural, the actor credits a different show for changing his career. In a new interview with People, Jeffrey Dean Morgan credits his role as Denny Duquette from Grey's Anatomy as the show that gave him a career.

Although Jeffrey Dean Morgan joined the long-running medical drama shortly after his appearance in Supernatural, Grey's Anatomy's Denny made more of an impact. Looking back at his roles, Morgan noted none of his current roles, including Negan, could've happened without Grey's Anatomy.

I've auditioned zero times since playing Denny Duquette.

"That show honestly gave me a career. I was doing that, Weeds and Supernatural simultaneously.

Supernatural’s Most Glaring Flaw Is Bobby’s House and Dean’s Car Defied Logic for 15 Seasons
Image
Supernatural has always been a top choice when you want to watch something that has both heart and horror. Whether it’s Sam and Dean’s brotherly shenanigans, insane monsters, or jaw-dropping cameos (remember when Scooby Doo and gang showed up?), the show has maintained its fanbase throughout the decades.

And I know, finding logic in a show that’s all about the supernatural – quite literally – might seem like nitpicking. However, if we are talking about the flaws of Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki-starrer, let’s start with how Bobby Singer’s house was always around the corner and how Dean’s Impala stood strong despite the miles on it.

“Had I known he was going to last that long…”: Supernatural Producer on the Character He Inspired in the Show
Image
Robert Singer, a producer on Supernatural, was under the impression that the character named after him was not going to stick around for long. However, the reality was far from that, given that Singer grew to regret giving him his name a little.

Bobby Singer is one of the more beloved characters in Supernatural. It turns out that the producer would have protested a little more if he had known that his namesake was going to stick around for a while in the show.

It seems that Robert Singer might have been in on the joke when he gave Bobby Singer his name, but he was definitely not prepared for how long the character was going to last on the show. Regarding that, he said:

Jared Padalecki Knew The Exact Moment ‘Supernatural’ Changed Gears That Made Me Love Eric Kripke Even More
Image
Jared Padalecki rose to prominence with Supernatural, where he played Sam Winchester. The series ran for fifteen seasons and continues to enjoy pop culture relevance. However, when the series first started, it followed a rather predictable format.

At its core, the first season is about two brothers fighting monsters and other supernatural creatures while searching for their dad. However, this formula could’ve easily turned stale and doomed the show in its very early episodes.

During an interview, Padalecki discussed his concerns about the show running out of ideas very early on. However, he singled out one episode as the exact moment when the series shifted gears and transformed into the version we fell in love with. Here is everything you need to know about Supernatural‘s transition that made me fall in love with Eric Kripke and his world.

‘Supernatural’ Was About Urban Legends but 1 Improvisation by Eric Kripke Changed TV Forever With Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki
Image
Mathematically, it would take nearly 10 days for someone to binge-watch all 15 seasons of Supernatural. That’s 327 episodes—a number that’s almost an urban legend in itself on anyone’s watchlist. Besides, Eric Kripke’s fantasy drama, which was sadly discontinued in 2020, still stands today as the longest-running US TV show in its genre.

Getting that kind of success, especially before the streaming explosion, speaks volumes about the immense hype that Supernatural generated back in its day. Now, most fans point to the undeniable chemistry of the Winchester brothers (Jensen Ackles & Jared Padalecki) for making the show a mainstay on TV for 15 straight years.

'Prison Break' Reboot: Cast, Plot, Release Date and Everything We Know So Far
Image
Audiences all across the world eagerly tuned in week-after-week to see just how the brilliant Michael Scofield would help his beloved brother Lincoln Burrows escape death row in the fan-favorite hit Prison Break, a thrilling crime drama series that ran for five seasons and featured a stacked cast led by Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, and Sarah Wayne Callies. A ratings knockout for Fox during its sensational run from 2005 to 2009 (and for an additional revival season in 2017 and TV film), Prison Break captivated fans with its gripping action, jaw-dropping storylines, and many twists and turns.

In November 2023, news first broke that a reboot of the successful show was revealed to be in the works at Hulu and would be written and executive produced by Mayans M.C. co-creator Elgin James, with a pilot episode officially ordered in December 2024. 10 Perfect Dean Winchester Moments in Supernatural That Are Flawless From Beginning to End
Image
On the surface, The CW's long-running paranormal series may seem outrageous, but there is a reason why Supernatural went on for 15 seasons. Amidst all the demons and ghosts, the series was really about the connection between two brothers. Sam and Dean Winchester did not always have the healthiest family dynamic, but there is no doubt that they would -- and did -- die for each other.

The Winchesters' co-dependent relationship stemmed from years of emotional neglect from their father, but it impacted the oldest brother most of all. Entrusted with raising his younger sibling and taking on the family business, Dean got the lion's share of emotional scenes. His father issues and self-loathing came out at the most heartbreaking of moments, making him the true Mvp of the series. But with tears, Dean also brought laughter in some of the best scenes in Supernatural.

Invincible Creator: I Wanted Jeffrey Dean Morgan in the Show Because “I couldn’t let Eric Kripke have all the fun” With The Boys Bagging a Supernatural Reunion
Image
The finale of Invincible season 3 hit all the right boxes, both in terms of the in-world and meta context. With I Thought You’d Never Shut Up currently standing at a near-perfect score on the IMDb, the finale is getting all the praises, as the reunion between Steven Yeun and Jeffrey Dean Morgan couldn’t have gone any better.

As for Morgan’s casting as Conquest, even though creator Robert Kirkman was aware of the potential risk, given the former’s reunion with The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke, Kirkman wasn’t going to let this opportunity slide.

Jared Padalecki Teases On-Screen Reunion With Jensen Ackles in ‘The Boys’ Final Season
Image
Fans of “Supernatural” have something exciting to look forward to! Jared Padalecki is set to appear in the fifth and final season of Amazon’s hit series “The Boys,” reuniting on-screen with his former co-star Jensen Ackles.

Padalecki recently spoke about his role, revealing that while he’s thrilled to be part of the show, he doesn’t know many details about his character yet. “I don’t know a whole lot about it, which is effing terrifying,” he admitted.

The news of his casting was confirmed by “The Boys” social media accounts, which also announced that fellow “Supernatural” alum Misha Collins will make an appearance in season five. The show’s producers have not yet shared how Padalecki’s character will fit into the storyline, but one thing is certain—he will have scenes with Ackles.

Hulu and 20th Television’s Prison Break pilot from Elgin James is coming together as Emily Browning, Lukas Gage and Drake Rodger have been set as series regulars.

As we previously reported, James’ version will be its own thing and set within the same universe as the original Fox series of the same name from Paul Scheuring. This new project is not expected to involve the characters at the center of the Og project, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell). The Most Annoying Supernatural Characters Fans Still Can't Stand
Image
Supernatural had several characters come and go, but not everyone enjoyed unconditional love like the Winchester brothers. With its 15-season run, the TV series was bound to pick up a few annoying characters who made their time on the screens unbearable. From stubborn angels to self-proclaimed justice-serving rogue hunters, Supernatural had its fair share of controversial personalities who were irredeemable.

While a few of these insufferable figures played pivotal roles in the story, they remained difficult for fans to embrace in any capacity. Whether due to their questionable actions or their grating demeanor, these characters often left audiences exasperated.

Supernatural Season 1 Stealthily Referenced One Of The Best Episodes Of The Simpsons
Image
It's no secret that Sam and Dean Winchester (especially Dean) love TV. The monster-hunting brothers at the center of the erstwhile CW fixture "Supernatural" made plenty of pop culture references over the course of the show's considerable run, and once they even ended up stuck in a madcap television world, guest starring on shows that borrowed from "Grey's Anatomy" and "CSI: Miami." Angel Castiel (Misha Collins) has a memorable relationship with the boob tube, too; he learned a lot about humankind while watching bad hotel-tv porn in season 6.

"Supernatural" wears its pop culture-loving heart on its sleeve, but way back in season 1, the show also dropped in some subtle "if you know, you know"-style references. Among them? A shout-out to one of the best classic episodes of "The Simpsons," dropped squarely into a dead serious scene about a kid-killing witch that's central to Dean's childhood trauma.

“They wanted a girl power character”: Eric Kripke’s Worst Mistake With ‘Supernatural’ Totally Wasted a Powerful Character
Image
Eric Kripke’s Supernatural is a beloved show for many reasons. It brings the viewers into the family business as they try to cope with the sheer amount of trauma that the Winchesters go through. It also takes them on a journey in an Impala as they get a front-row seat to the most out-of-pocket show to have ever aired on television.

There are many things that showrunner Eric Kripke got right with the series. Be it the chick-flick moments or the action, fans do not have to worry about feeling unengaged. At the same time, the series has faced a very big criticism in the fifteen years that it ran.

The way that Kripke wrote the female characters in the series has become a topic of discussion for years within the community. With this, one cannot talk about poorly written women in...

Supernatural’s Deadpool-like Move in Season 4 Itself Shows Writers May Have Been Running Out of Ideas Pretty Early On
Image
Supernatural ran for a whopping fifteen seasons with the fantasy drama series following the monster-hunting escapades of the Winchester brothers. By the time the series concluded its run, nearly every concept in its genre had been done to death. However, its meta approach to some concepts may have helped keep the Impala running for as long as it did.

A promotional image featuring the cast of Supernatural (Credit: Warner Bros).

Nonetheless, when looking back at the show’s now-iconic run, one season 4 episode stands out for pulling off a Deadpool-like move. The episode’s fourth-wall breaking idea might’ve hinted at the creative well running dry very early on during the show’s run. As a result, it is worth reflecting on this fan-favorite season 4 episode of Supernatural.

Supernatural actors set to reunite in The Boys final season
Ko Zandvliet and Gijs Blom in Boys (2014)
It's official! The upcoming final season of Amazon Prime's The Boys will feature actors Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins as guest stars.

These actors are perhaps best known for their starring roles alongside The Boys regular, Jensen Ackles, in the cult classic 2005 show, Supernatural. With Eric Kripke being the showrunner for The Boys and the original showrunner and creator of Supernatural, it makes sense to see some actor crossover. Besides Ackles, the two shows share Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Joe Kessler & John Winchester), Rob Benedict (Splinter & Chuck/God), Alexander Calvert (Rufus & Jack), and Jim Beaver (Bob Singer &… Bob Singer). And those are just the big ones. At this point, the question becomes why they haven't brought on Jared and Misha sooner.

We can talk all we want about scheduling conflicts and actor fallout, and I'm sure those things definitely played a part, but I think it's bigger than that. You can...

Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s career touched meteoric heights after his turn as John Winchester in The CW’s Supernatural. Is Days of Our Lives Alum Jensen Ackles About to Have A Supernatural Reunion on The Boys?
Image
No, there isn’t a Supernatural reboot…yet. Prime Video’s The Boys recently stirred up excitement on social media when the hit show dropped a massive tease for its upcoming fifth and final season. It involves Days of Our Lives alum Jensen Ackles and his former Supernatural co-stars Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins.

They’ve Got Work To Do…Again

In a video that several Instagram accounts posted, Days alum Jensen Ackles kicked off the madness with, “Hey Jared, we got work to do…again.” The action then cut from Ackles to his Supernatural brother Jared Padalecki, who played Sam Winchester to Ackles’s Dean Winchester. The former Walker star picked up the proverbial baton and said, “Okay, I’ll tell Misha. Misha! We got work to do.” Misha Collins wrapped things up when he responded, “Okay. What are we doing?” Finally, a page featuring The Boys title ended things with authority.

One thing that fans love the best about the CW show is that the actors and crew have been more like a family than co-workers, which makes their friendship even more swoon-worthy.

'The Boys' Season 5 Casts 'Supernatural's Jared Padalecki & Misha Collins

The boys of Supernatural are reuniting, fittingly, on The Boys. On the surface, there might be a lot of distance between The CW weekly procedural and the R-rated hit streaming series, but the two shows come from the same creative mind, Eric Kripke. Why The CW Canceled The Supernatural Spin-Off The Winchesters
Image
The CW's "Supernatural" ended after 15 record-breaking seasons, with the demon-hunting siblings Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) both ending up in Heaven after it was all said and done. Of course, it was only a matter of time until the network tried to capitalize on the success of the hit horror show, and the prequel series, "The Winchesters," was born -- only to be canceled after one season.

"The Winchesters" switches the action to the '70s and follows Mary Campbell (Meg Donnelly) and John Winchester (Drake Rodger) -- aka Sam and Dean's parents -- as they fight all manner of creatures and crush on each other. They are also joined by a Scooby Gang-esque group of monster hunters who help them out along the way, making for a fun, diverse, and action-packed viewing experience. Sadly, the gang's adventures weren't destined to last, no matter how much they enriched the "Supernatural" universe.

“We would love to have him back, but…”: Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Rising Fame Became His Own Worst Enemy in Supernatural
Image
Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan was integral to Supernatural during the show’s early days. Morgan played the role of John Winchester, the father of the Winchester brothers. While the brothers soldered on for fifteen seasons, going to Hell and back, Morgan’s character was unceremoniously killed off during the show’s second season.

During an interview, one of the show’s writers discussed why Morgan could not return to the series despite several characters, including the brothers, being revived over the seasons. As a result, it became evident that Morgan’s busy schedule and fame post-Supernatural got in the way of his return to the hit paranormal drama series.

No One Has Talked About The Real Reason Why The Supernatural Winchesters Spinoff Failed
Image
When a Supernatural spinoff was announced shortly after the iconic show’s ending, many were excited to revisit the monster-hunting universe with The Winchesters. The CW spinoff aimed to resolve some of the Winchester mysteries presented in Supernatural, especially expanding on Mary Winchester’s past life as a hunter in the 1970s, with a revitalized formula and a brand-new cast. Following their meeting, The Winchesters followed John Winchester and Mary Cambell’s journey as they tried to find their missing fathers alongside their friends, Carlos, Ada, and Latika, meeting interesting beings along the way – including the universe-destroying Akrida and some other familiar faces.

The Supernatural multiverse had been previously established during the 15 seasons the show aired, with Sam and Dean visiting many alternate worlds, especially in the later seasons. Therefore, a Supernatural TV show spinoff based on the Winchester family in an alternate universe appealed to many wanting to discover...

“I immediately started lying through my teeth”: ‘Supernatural’ Was Almost Nipped in the Bud After Eric Kripke’s 1 Miserably Failed Pitch to Warner Bros
Image
Supernatural owes its genesis to a simple lie told by creator Eric Kripke while he was pitching the show to Warner Bros. Television. The mystery drama series centered around the Winchester brothers, a pair of ghost/demon hunters who are on the lookout for their father after he goes missing while hunting for the demon who killed their mother.

While the series has become a staple in pop culture and the Winchesters have some quote-worthy moments, the original version of the show was reportedly starkly different. In fact, showrunner Eric Kripke would have blown the deal if he had not thought quickly and changed up one key detail regarding the storyline of what would be Supernatural.

Why Jeffrey Dean Morgan Opened Lead Role In New Bloody Horror-Comedy To A Different Actor Thoughtfully Explained By Producer
Image
Jeffrey Dean Morgan could have been the leading man of his new horror-comedy movie but opted not to. The actor is likely best known for television roles including playing John Winchester on Supernatural, Joe Kessler on The Boys, Jason Crouse on The Good Wife, and Denny Duquette on Grey's Anatomy. However, he has also held roles in prominent movies, especially those directed by Zack Snyder, including playing Comedian in Watchmen and Thomas Wayne in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Morgan joined the cast of The Walking Dead in 2016 as the notorious villain Negan Smith, a role he played for more than 60 episodes across six seasons and later reprised in the spinoff Dead City, which has been renewed for the upcoming season 2. This prominent role led to an uptick in horror and thriller roles, and since 2016 he has appeared in a wide variety of genre titles including The Postcard Killings,...

Why Jeffrey Dean Morgan Left Supernatural
Image
Countless actors came and went on Supernatural’s 15-season journey. One of The CW’s most popular shows kicked off with interesting family dynamics involving two brothers and their dad on the hunt for otherworldly creatures. However, the series transformed significantly as the Winchesters went from the typical family business to getting mixed with angels and God himself.

During their long, strenuous journey, Sam and Dean never quite experienced healthy familial relationships, especially with their father. John Winchester may have been an exceptional hunter, but he fell short when it came to his responsibilities as a father. Although Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s John Winchester played a crucial role in Season 1, he couldn't stick around for some very understandable reasons.

10 Supernatural Episodes Where A Major Character Dies
Image
Supernatural is famous for killing off numerous characters. In fact, there are only a few Supernatural episodes with no deaths at all. Death permeates the fantasy show from the beginning – with the death of Sam and Dean’s mother, Mary Winchester, in the pilot – but also at the start of almost every episode, when a civilian is killed by a mysterious creature, setting up the episode’s premise.

Throughout the show’s impressive 15 seasons, there have been many shocking deaths, as Supernatural is not afraid to kill off even the best supporting characters, as well as the main characters. Both Sam and Dean Winchester have died numerous times, and have subsequently been revived. However, several Supernatural episodes feature a final major character death that truly shocked fans and impacted the show as a whole.

Supernatural's Winchester Family Reunion Finally Overcame The Problem With Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Casting
Image
Supernatural's Winchester family reunion might have broken the fabric of reality, but it fixed the long-running inconsistency caused by casting Jeffrey Dean Morgan as John Winchester. Supernatural season 14's "Lebanon" marked the show's 300th episode, and that milestone was celebrated in style via the return of Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Sam & Dean's father. Happening across some wish-granting relic, the Winchester brothers' deepest desire to see their late father again became a reality, and John was parachuted into the Supernatural bunker.

Morgan's version of John had last appeared in Supernatural season 2. Several years on from his untimely demise, the Winchester brothers also managed to inadvertently bring their mother back. "Lebanon," therefore, gave Supernatural fans a full, four-way reunion featuring the entire Winchester family. Even better, the manner in which John returned successfully resolved a nagging problem that had plagued Supernatural ever since Morgan's early appearances.

Little-Known Dean Winchester Detail Makes Supernatural's First Death Even More Tragic
Image
There is a little-known Dean Winchester detail which makes the first death in Supernatural even more tragic. In Supernatural’s pilot episode, Mary Winchester is suddenly killed, thrusting the remaining Winchesters into a life of hunting monsters. Mary’s death follows a Supernatural episode trend of depicting a character’s demise at the hands of an often unknown being at the beginning, setting up a case for the Winchester brothers to solve. However, the death of Mary Winchester is also one of the key moments that define Supernatural, as it forms part of Sam and Dean’s destiny to be Michael and Lucifer’s vessels.

With a growing multiverse of Supernatural alternate realities, spinoff shows, and books, there is plenty of information available about the Winchester family. Written by Supernatural’s executive producer Peter Johnson, the comic book prequel series Supernatural: Origins offers a rare insight into John Winchester’s life after Mary’s death.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Star Trek Experience Nearly Made Him Quit Acting
Image
Quick Links Who Is Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and What Is He Known For? Why Jeffrey Dean Morgan Almost Quit Acting Because of Star Trek

For six decades, the universe created by Gene Roddenberry has returned to television twice, as well as the feature film world. For many actors, an association with the USS Enterprise or the final frontier is somewhere between a dream come true to an opportunity for a bigger career. For actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, however, his appearance on Star Trek: Enterprise almost made him quit acting.

As the final series in the second wave, Star Trek: Enterprise was a prequel to Star Trek: The Original Series. While some actors, like Starfleet Academy's Paul Giamatti look forward to playing aliens, others do not. In 2003, Jeffrey Dean Morgan was a working actor whose star was still on the rise, and he was cast as an alien antagonist. Morgan almost quit acting after that,...

The world of Supernatural is one of the most complex ones, involving several ‘supernatural’ entities and events that would leave even the most sane of us confused if one hasn’t been keeping track of it since the start. However, for fans of one of the longest-running series, it is precisely this complexity and its penchant for chaos that makes it as delightful and mesmerizing to watch.

While the Winchester brothers, aka Dean and Sam Winchesters, are the main draw of the show, Supernatural boasts a long list of memorable characters, both the nice and evil ones, that have now assumed the status of ‘fan-favorite.’ One of these characters is the demon Meg Masters.

10 Best Movies & TV Shows Starring The Cast Of Supernatural
Image
The cast of Supernatural has contributed to the shows popularity over the years, as each episode introduces a bunch of new characters that Sam and Dean Winchester must investigate. With Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and Misha Collins becoming most known in their acting careers for forming the main part of Supernaturals cast for over a decade, it is not surprising that other actors have risen to fame for simply appearing on the show. For example, Alden Ehrenreichs first role was in Supernatural season 1, before he appeared in Solo: A Star Wars Story in 2018.

Over the years, several members of the Supernatural cast have ventured into other films, TV shows, and even voice acting, showcasing their versatility and range. Additionally, there are plenty of instances where the fantasy shows cast appear on-screen together outside the series, most notably in The Boys. This Supernatural Season 1 Episode Was When I Realized I Had To Watch The Entire Show
Image
Although Supernatural season 1 was full of great episodes, there was one episode in particular that made me want to watch the show to the very end. Supernatural had some big changes after season 1, as Sam and Dean Winchester went from battling low-level ghosts every week to fighting Angels and Demons on the daily. Likewise, Supernaturals original monster of the week format unraveled into a more linear story. However, despite the production quality being considerably better, Supernatural season 1 had great episodes that laid the foundations for future plotlines.

From the beginning, Supernaturals horror movie per episode plan is evident, with each episode in season 1 focusing on a new case involving a new monster. The first few episodes of Supernatural set up what to expect from the show, detailing the ways monsters can be killed and the overall relationship between the Winchester brothers and their missing father. With memorable episodes such as Bloody Mary and Skin,...

Why Supernatural Killed Off Bobby In Season 7
Image
Bobby Singer died in Supernatural season 7, episode 10, Deaths Door. Bobby had one of the most tragic deaths in the show. After seven years of being a reliable ally in the battle against evil and a stalwart father figure to Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), Bobby Singer (Jim Beaver) died after being shot by the Leviathan, Dick Roman (James Patrick Stewart). Bobby Singer had survived encounters with ghosts, vampires, demons, and even multiple vessels of Lucifer himself. So why did the writers of Supernatural kill Bobby off in season 7?

Bobby Singer was first introduced to the world of supernatural entities when a demon possessed his wife, and in response, Bobby accidentally killed her. From that day, Bobby learned all he could about the world of ghosts and monsters and aided fellow hunters, including John Winchester (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). For seven seasons, Bobby was an ally to Sam and Dean Winchester.
