Born in San Jose, CA, Gianna Gabrielle Tails DeVine (or "Brielle," as she's known) was a born performer, getting her start in small school productions, church plays, and her own "plays" that she "produced" at home. As she grew up, the venues where she performed grew too. In college she questioned her direction in life, but was inspired by her Film & TV instructor to pursue a career in acting in Los Angeles. After having lost both of her jobs in the 2008 recession, Brielle made the decision to lose 60 lbs., packed her bags, and moved to Hollywood in 2009.
Brielle booked the first role she auditioned for when moving to Hollywood. From there, she continued focusing on a career in film and TV, and had further strengthened her craft with training from Stella Adler - LA, Upright Citizen's Brigade, and elsewhere in Los Angeles. In an effort to help advance her acting career, Brielle worked her way into film production in 2010, and opened DeVine Works Limited in 2011; a company that produced short films, industrial films, and small business web commercials.
In 2012 Brielle began devoting her free time to training for amateur natural bodybuilding competitions, and decided to also look into becoming a certified personal trainer to assist her in that goal. With both acting and film production being very uncertain career paths, Brielle soon realized she was much more passionate about helping others achieve their health and fitness goals, and eventually stopped pursuing a career in the film industry in favor of opening her own personal training studio in Sherman Oaks, DeVine Physiques.
In 2020, during the CoViD-19 pandemic, Brielle came to finally accept that she is transgender, a part of her life that she frequently hid, denied to herself, and ran away from. She came out for the first time privately in June of 2020; and publicly in October of the same year.
Brielle has now committed her life to helping others achieve their health and fitness goals; is slowly getting back into film production as of November of 2021; and as an amateur mountaineer can often be found in her "summit slippers" atop mountains in the San Gabriel Mountains and the High Sierra.
