Following its box office success,Final Destination Bloodlines will soon be available on streaming, as the horror film is set to debut on HBO Max on August 1, according to Deadline.

On streaming, Final Destination Bloodlines will be available next Friday, with the horror premiering on HBO linear on Aug. 2 at 8 p.m. Et. The streaming release date comes 77 days after its theatrical release, and 45 days after Final Destination Bloodlines hit digital on June 17.

Final Destination Bloodlines co-director Zach Lipovsky has finally revealed the reason why they decided to scrap their initial plans to include Kimberly Corman in the latest installment of the hit supernatural horror franchise. Kimberly Corman was the main protagonist of 2003’s Final Destination 2, which featured one of the franchise’s most iconic death sequences, whose character was later portrayed by A.J. Cook.

During a recent interview with ScreenRant, Lipovsky confirmed that their first draft of the screenplay included a Corman cameo, which would have taken place in the same scene as William Bludworth’s appearance. However, they eventually removed Kimberly from the scene in order to give highlight to Tony Todd’s character. “It could definitely work in the future. It was actually something that we essentially killed. The first draft that we read—you guys are good at that,” Lipovsky said. “Yeah, the first draft that we read had them finding.

Pop icon Charli Xcx is revisiting the Final Destination franchise ahead of seeing the latest installment, Final Destination Bloodlines, which landed in theaters two weeks ago. The musician only had the best words for the films, as seen on TikTok, and she didn’t hesitate to pitch her own idea for a potential sequel starring “It Girls.” Final Destination began with the 2000 pic and is currently in its sixth chapter, which is not the last for the franchise, as previously hinted by producer Craig Perry. So fingers crossed, Charli’s version could actually come to life.

Highly positive reviews are sure to have helped, as are some incredibly inventive, shocking, and downright gruesome kills.

Though the opening Sky View premonition sequence is arguably the highlight of the movie, the "lawnmower death" that befalls poor Uncle Howard has to be a close second. The carnage is brilliantly orchestrated, with several fake-outs building towards Howard falling backwards into the oncoming blades of the lawnmower.

The studio has now shared a behind-the-scenes look at Howard's brutal demise, which relied heavily on practical VFX. We also have some BTS photos of the bloodied cast members.

The revelation was made in an excerpt from Entertainment Weekly journalist Clark Collis' upcoming book titled, Screaming and Conjuring: The Resurrection and Unstoppable Rise of the Modern Horror Movie.He states that Perry admitted that 2009's The Final Destination was the worst one in the franchise. "I don't think the fourth one is good at all, actually it sucks," Perry said.

The "Final Destination" franchise has lain dormant for 14 years, waiting for the perfect moment to strike fear into a whole new generation. I admittedly had my reservations about "Bloodlines" simply because "Final Destination 5" is both the best entry and the thematic lynchpin of the entire series. Most horror franchises would kill to have an ending this tight, so the thought of resurrecting it for another go-around worried me initially.
