Bryian Keith Montgomery Jr. is an African-American filmmaker from Leimert Park, Los Angeles. He created his brand, ALT-Horror, to address racism, violence, and masculinity in American culture by re-framing contemporary stories as farce and satire. About his work Bryian says, "I like to make movies that scare me; it just so happens that America's past, present, and future are my biggest fears."
His most recent work, CINNAMON, which Bryian wrote and directed, was produced by Village Roadshow for Tubi. CINNAMON premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, before continuing its festival run at the American Black Film Festival where it was awarded Best Narrative Feature and Best Director. CINNAMON also earned Bryian an NAACP Image Awards nomination for Best Directing in Television, Movie, or Special.
