Claire (Hayley Erin) grew increasingly exasperated with her grandfather’s thinly veiled snub of her boyfriend during a somber family gathering. She refused to let him control her life any longer, delivered a sharp rebuke, and stormed off in protest. Meanwhile, tensions simmered when Victor (Eric Braeden) pressed Adam (Mark Grossman) to publish hit pieces on Billy (Jason Thompson). At Crimson Lights, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) startled Lily (Christel Khalil) by revealing Cane (Billy Flynn) had discreetly returned. Elsewhere, Cane pitched a bold plan to create a new corporate empire by acquiring major companies, drawing Phyllis’s (Michelle Stafford) enthusiastic support while Billy (Jason Thompson) wavered, uncertain whether to betray family or jump into Cane’s ambitious scheme.

The Young and the Restless recap for August 7 featured Claire and Audra’s feud coming to a head in a fiery confrontation that left Kyle on thin ice. Lily struggled with Victor’s bold idea to spy on Cane, while Devon warned her to walk away before things got worse. Adam found himself caught between loyalty and independence. Lily Weighed Victor’s Shocking Suggestion

Still reeling from a tense video call with Nate (Sean Dominic), Lily (Christel Khalil) joined Devon (Bryton James) at Crimson Lights, both trying to process Damian (Jermaine Rivers) and Chance’s (Conner Floyd) tragic deaths. Lily blamed it all on Cane’s (Billy Flynn) obsession with control. She had no interest in seeing him again and made it clear she wanted nothing to do with him.

Victor (Eric Braeden) entered, and Devon invited him to join them.

Young and the Restless sees Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) fuming over Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) plotting with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to ruin her relationship. This week, Claire and Kyle see Audra chatting with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) at Society, and she can’t wait to get over there because Claire is determined to confront Audra. She storms up and tells her she knows what she tried to do with Kyle in France and she knows all about Audra’s dirty deal with Victor.

Meanwhile, an upset Audra calls Kyle pathetic. She insists to Claire that Kyle really was in her room in France and was flirting with Audra while they were away.

Claire (Hayley Erin) is a delicate little flower when it comes to dealing with her newfound family and Kyle (Michael Mealor). But, once upon a time, she was the protege of her devious aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk), the woman who taught her how to make people suffer. A lot.

Jordan (temporarily) got the best of the high and mighty Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). You know how good you have to be to pull that off? Well, that’s how good Jordan was. And that’s how good she taught Claire to be.

Let’s chalk up another loss for Audra Charles. She can’t seem to catch a break on The Young and the Restless. Victor told her that he doesn’t want to work with her anymore. He’s embarrassed that she epically failed her seduction plot. She will have to find success on her own terms if she wants it badly.

Y&r fans debated whether Audra (Zuleyka Silver) deserves a break after this stunning loss. They were convinced that she would succeed at seducing Kyle (Michael Mealor) and blowing up his relationship with Claire (Hayley Erin). We have a feeling that it will implode on its own.
