Hulu is getting ready to step up its reality TV game. An exclusive report from Deadline indicates that Hulu has ordered several new unscripted series from A&e, and renewed its house-flipping show “50/50 Flip” for a second season.

One of the new series ordered by Hulu will feature home-cooking maven Rachael Ray, who will step out from behind her pots and pans and into a role she has never assumed before. Ray will host the series “Rachael Ray’s Rebuild,” which will see her partnering with contractor Anthony Carrino to help families whose homes were destroyed by fires, floods, or other natural disasters to rebuild and create their dream house.

Exclusive: Hulu is expanding its unscripted slate with the addition of three new series featuring Big Boi, Rachael Ray and Bill Kurtis, along with a second season of house flipping series 50/50 Flip. All hail from A+E Networks’ factual production groups Six West Media and Category 6 Media and will premiere in 2023-2024.

Outkast’s Antwan “Big Boi” Patton leads the cast of Big Rv Remix, a renovation format, which drops on Hulu on July 21. The series revolves around Big Boi and his business partner Janice Faison who own Celebrity Trailers which specializes in over-the-top custom large vehicle renovations. Per the official description, “From trailers and campers to sprinters and school buses – if it has wheels, Big Boi and Janice are ready to make their clients’ vehicle renovation dreams come true”. The series is produced by Six West Media™ group and Milojo Productions.

The star of Hgtv shows Kitchen Cousin and Cousins Undercover recently proposed to his girlfriend Jacey Lambros, a former Radio City Music Hall Rockette and co-owner of the Jane Do fitness studio. Ellen Digital Network (Edn), the digital production outpost (and mobile gaming and podcast publishing division) of Ellen DeGeneres' do-gooder media empire -- which counts 187 million social followers and 1 billion video views across all platforms -- announced yesterday a slate of four shows during its presentation at the inaugural NewFronts West in Los Angeles.

One of those shows will feature digital star Kalen Allen, who shot to viral acclaim for his hilarious reaction videos to questionable online recipe videos. Sensing something special in the 22-year-old, DeGeneres invited him onto her long-running television show, and has now greenlit OMKalen, a weekly digital series in which Allen will react to trending news stories every Saturday.

Additionally, Edn is partnering with plus-size model Ashley Graham on Fearless, which will explore self-acceptance and body positivity, and it has also announced The Ayesha Curry Project, in which the mompreneur will help other young women looking to build their own businesses.

Maintaining its mission of philanthropy, Kiehl’s Since 1851, the venerable New York-based purveyor of fine quality skin and hair care, returns to Washington DC with an expansion of its charitable motorcycle ride, LifeRide.

Kiehl’s LifeRide for Breast Cancer, Benefitting The Brem Foundation will take place over three days, Oct. 23-Oct. 25, riding from Richmond, Va to Washington DC, and around the metro Dmv area.

This is a new version of Kiehl’s cross-country motorcycle ride inspired by Kiehl’s iconic motorcycle, spirit of adventure, and philanthropic heritage, and will benefit Washington DC’s The Brem Foundation, which helps women find breast cancer early, when they have the best chance for survival. The Brem Foundation educates women about their risk factors and screening options, provides access to diagnostic tests for uninsured women, and funds the only breast-imaging training program that requires community service.

Hgtv and Diy Network have greenlit seven new series, including “America's Most Desperate Kitchens,” featuring “Kitchen Cousins” hosts Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri. “Log Cabin Living,” also set to air on Hgtv, will follow couples leaving city living behind and searching for their perfect cabin in the woods. “The Shalina Joy Project” will follow a New Jersey teacher and house flipper as she renovates a Victorian mansion, and “Real Estate Riches” will follow real estate investor Daniel Wiafe and his wife Melinda as they purchase dilapidated homes, renovate them from top-to-bottom and flip them for resale.
