Project Runway deviated from many reality shows of its day by focusing on a fascinating niche fashion design.

The premise of Project Runway was not entirely dissimilar to run of the mill competition shows, as each season featured 12 aspiring fashion designers as contestants, slowly whittled down to a small handful for a final competition.

Each week, Project Runway's aspiring designers would participate in challenges and display their pieces on the show's titular runway.

“Project Runway” is headed from Bravo to Freeform with a brand-new season in 2025 with new hosts and judges.

The fashion competition show, which was helmed by Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn for its first 16 seasons, will return next year with a 10-episode season after a creative overhaul. The hosts, judges and premiere date will be announced at a later time.

After launching on Bravo — and then moving to Lifetime before eventually returning to Bravo — “Project Runway” will now be a Freeform original series, after the Disney-owned network closed a deal with “Project Runway” producer Spyglass Media Group. The new season of “Project Runway” will air weekly on Freeform, with new episodes streaming shortly after on Disney+ and Hulu.

Project Runway's future was uncertain after season 20, but it was later confirmed as renewed for season 21. But this wasn’t Jean Baptiste’s first struggle this season. On the contrary, this was the fifth week in a row that he got a low score from the judges.

“I was honored to be asked back. I thought you guys hated my guts from the last time,” admitted Prajje Oscar Jean-Baptiste in the “Project Runway: All-Stars” after show following his elimination from the episode “Let Me See Your Peacock!” in which the designers had to create extravagant red carpet menswear looks. More specifically, it was a lot of ups (four high scores over the course of the first six challenges) followed by a lot of downs (five low scores in a row leading to his ouster from the competition). Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner have welcomed their second child, with the couple taking to social media to announce the news.

Kushner posted a photo of the newborn’s face to Instagram on Thursday, with the caption revealing that the baby was born Tuesday. He did not share the child’s name.

Plenty of notable figures shared support in the comment section, including Kate Hudson, who wrote “Welcome!!!” and added numerous raised-hands emojis. Kim Kardashian posted “Congrats!!!!” while Gwyneth Paltrow shared a heart emoji.

Kloss, whose credits include previously serving as host for Project Runway and appearing in Zoolander 2, tied the knot with Kushner in October 2018 at a wedding ceremony in upstate New York. They welcomed their son Levi in March 2021.

“Project Runway” returns for its long awaited 20th season on June 15, 2023. It’ll be a special “All-Stars” season, the first such season to air on Bravo; seven seasons of “Project Runway All-Stars” aired when Lifetime was the home of all things “Runway” before the franchise returned to its original home Bravo in 2019. So who are you rooting for? Project Runway is celebrating 20 years of the reality competition series with an “All-Stars” edition set to premiere on Thursday, June 15 at 8 p.m. Et on Bravo. The network announced that the premiere will be two parts and you can watch a preview of the upcoming season in the video posted above.

Returning as judges are Nina Garcia, Brandon Maxwell and Elaine Welteroth with Christian Siriano set as a mentor. In Season 20, fourteen of the most beloved designers from across the 19 seasons of the show will return and have a shot at winning the competition.

Chinonye Chukwu is quickly making a name for her mastery of emotional, character-driven narratives. The Clemency director’s latest project is the heart-wrenching biopic Till, an account of the 1955 lynching of 14-year-old Emmett Till. Told from the perspective of his mother, Mamie Till-Mobley (played by Danielle Deadwyler), the film opened Oct. 14.

If there’s one thing Julianne Hough has been doing lately, it’s stopping traffic with her latest high-fashion fits on the NYC streets.

The former Dancing With the Stars dancer, 34, has no intention of slowing down her style game anytime soon — especially after showing off her recent looks during New York Fashion Week.

On Thursday, the triple threat shared her latest outfit with her 5.1 million Instagram followers in the form of a video made up of four street-walking photos.

In the action shots, Hough took to the middle of Manhattan in a black minidress that featured cutouts on her right arm and left hip. The intricately designed dress only had one sleeve, along with a collared feature to take her classic “little black dress” to the next level.

Julianne Hough is reliving her behind-the-scenes moments from her time at New York Fashion Week.

The former Dancing With The Stars dancer has been sharing her all-beige look from a fashion show she attended last week in Manhattan.

At the base of her outfit, Julianne was rocking a tiny, white knit bra top and a pair of high-waisted tan trousers.

Overtop, the triple threat wore an oversized blazer in the same shade of tan as her baggy pants — which were pulled tight by a large matching belt.

Julianne added a pair of closed-toe heels and a handbag of the same beige shade to pull her look together. For accessories, the Safe Haven star wore a few gold necklaces and oversized sunglasses lined on top with the same color as her outfit.
