Trailer for Upcoming Hong Kong Film “Ip Man 4”
The Donnie Yen starring Ip Man series seemed to be done with the 2015 “Ip Man 3” which opened to lukewarm responses. But it would seem there is still life in the old beast after all, for the next entry in the franchise, the innovatively titled “Ip Man 4”, is gearing up for release. Donnie Yen swears this would be the last film in the series.

Synopsis

While a lot of the plot details are still under wraps, “Ip Man 4” sees the titular Wing Chun master arrive in San Francisco, United States where his most famous student, Bruce Lee, has upset the local martial arts community by opening a Wing Chun school.

Donnie Yen reprises his role as Ip Man and director Wilson Yip and writer Edmond Wong also return for the fourth film of the franchise. After Mike Tyson in the third film, this time it is English actor Scott Adkins...

Teaser Trailer for Renny Harlin's 'Legend of the Ancient Sword' Movie
Nothing like some campy Chinese fantasy action to start the day, right? The first teaser trailer has debuted online for a new Chinese fantasy-adventure-action film directed by action veteran Renny Harlin titled Legend of the Ancient Sword. Based on the video game "Gu Jian Qi Tan 2", the film centers around a young student of a lost martial arts form (called "Yan") who heads out from his hometown to find a great master. The main cast includes Leehom Wang, Victoria Song, Godfrey Gao, Karena Ng, Julian Cheung, Archie Kao, Ada Liu, and Li Yan. Bruce Lee in Fist of Fury (1972)
'Ip Man 3' Trailer: Donnie Yen Fights Mike Tyson
Bruce Lee in Fist of Fury (1972)
Back in March, we reported that the long-awaited Ip Man 3 is finally moving forward, with Donnie Yen returning to star as the title character, and heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson also coming aboard. Today, MovieClips has the first domestic trailer for this highly-anticipated sequel, with Well Go USA setting a January 22, 2016 release date. Ip Man 3 will be going up against Dirty Grandpa and The Boy in its new release date.

Our original report from March revealed that the producers had planned on using a CGI version of late martial arts legend Bruce Lee, which certainly caused some controversy. Just one week later, it was reported that Bruce Lee's estate was trying to stop the production from using this CGI version. While we never got an update about the lawsuit filed by Bruce Lee's family, the film's IMDb page lists Kwok-Kwan Chan (Kung Fu Hustle, Shaolin Soccer) as portraying Bruce Lee,...

Baby Blues to Be Delivered in September
You're pregnant with twins, your feet hurt, it looks like you're harboring a medicine ball under your shirt, and pretty soon you're gonna have to try to squeeze a watermelon through a straw. Yep, that sucks, but in the end we hear it's worth it. But sometimes families aren't so lucky.

From the Press Release

When a young couple moves into a new home, they find a mysterious doll that changes their lives forever in the horror thriller Baby Blues, debuting on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital September 2nd from Well Go USA Entertainment.

Po-Chih Leong (Hong Kong 1941) directed this terrifying story of Tian Qing, pregnant with twins, who has a miscarriage and gives birth to only one child. With his wife suffering from postpartum depression, Hao seeks help and discovers a mysterious doll that may be the source of their problems.

New Trailer to Vincent Kok's Love Is... Pyjamas Is Pants. No, Seriously.
"Men are brothers! Women are laundry!"So goes one of the many pearls of wisdom in Hong Kong director Vincent Kok's new romantic comedy, the bizarrely titled Love Is... Pyjamas. It appears from this rather perplexing, if enthusiastic trailer that Ronald Cheng plays a TV relationship guru who imparts pearls of wisdom on his female audience about how to best treat their men. "As clothes", seems to be his advice. Nope, I'm not entirely sure what he means by that either, but no doubt I'll be watching the film when it opens in Hong Kong on 11 October. Cheng stars alongside Teresa Mo, Raymond Lam, Lynn Xiong, Karena Ng, Raymond Wong - and rather unwisely, Ronald Cheng appears in Blackface at one point. No doubt all will be...

Magic to Win (2011) Movie Review #2
“Magic to Win” revisits the popular Hong Kong 1980s “Happy Ghost” films (the first of which arrived back in 1984, inspiring no less than 4 sequels), following the same formula of cute female students getting involved in magical and supernatural shenanigans and learning lessons about life and growing up. Somewhat surprisingly, the film was helmed by Wilson Yip, who since the critical and commercial success of the Donnie Yen starring “Spl” and “Flashpoint” has been hailed as one of Hong Kong’s top action directors, also having been responsible for the hugely popular “Ip Man” and sequel. The film certainly represents another high profile popcorn outing for the director following his “Chinese Ghost Story” remake last year, and again sees him working with a cast of bankable talent including Louis Koo (“Overheard 2”), Fahrenheit’s Wu Chun (“My Kingdom”), martial arts favourite Wu Jing (“Spl”), real life magician Tonny Jan, and Mainland actress...

Dreams Of A Life (12A)

(Carol Morley, 2011, UK) Zawe Ashton, Neelam Bakshi, Jonathan Harden. 95 mins

This ingenious documentary unravels a bizarre mystery that cuts to our deepest emotional fears, but it also transcends its own genre. The mystery is Joyce Vincent – who tragically died alone in her London flat, aged 38, and whose body wasn't found until three years later. Who Joyce was and how this came to pass is gradually (partially) pieced together, as Morley tracks down former associates and stages reconstructions of her life (with Ashton, unrecognisable from her Fresh Meat incarnation). What starts as a horrific news item becomes the moving story of a real person, albeit an enigmatic one. And in the process, the film itself shifts from sobering documentary to dignifying biopic, giving this strange, sad story a subtle avant garde flourish.

Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows (12A)

(Guy Ritchie, 2011, Us) Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law,...
