Based on a recent announcement by the CBS boss, the stage has been set to make it possible.

It was revealed that Survivor 50 will be a “year-long” celebration at CBS.

Host Jeff Probst also announced that the show will feature returning players.

But Survivor is only 26 days long now (or 39 days if they extend it for the special season), giving them enough content for a 13-episode season.

Having 13 weeks of Survivor 50 isn’t exactly a year of content, but there’s a way for CBS to extend that.

Big Brother 16 star Frankie Grande would love to play the game again, but he fears that he would be too big of a target in an All-Stars season. Frankie placed 5th on Big Brother 16. He holds the record for the most Head of Household (Hoh) wins in a single season at five, although he was dethroned for two of them. He also won three vetoes. If his Battle of the Block win is counted, Frankie has nine single season wins, tying Janelle Pierzina and Michael Bruner for the most ever. Frankie was only nominated twice while he was in the house.

On EW's Quick Drag podcast, Frankie revealed that he is absolutely "not done with Big Brother." However, with rumors of the upcoming Big Brother 25 being either an All-Stars season or having some returning players, he admitted that he is hesitant to return out of fear of being an immediate target.

Survivor season 44 has yet to premiere, but it's already drawing comparisons to a prior season, 2016's Survivor: Kaôh Rōng. Though it was filmed before season 31, Kaôh Rōng aired as the show's 32nd installment, and it was the final season to be filmed in a location other than Fiji. Set in Cambodia, the installment featured one of the show's most shocking endings, when Michele Fitzgerald won the final jury vote over Aubry Bracco. That event was very controversial.

Season 44 is set to be the fourth installment of the show's "new era," and will feature the same basic format of its three "new era" predecessors. It will be a 26-day game, and end with an on-island winner announcement and after-show. Additionally, Survivor season 44 will introduce 18 new Survivor contestants, who will begin the game in three tribes of six.

In Survivor's 43 seasons, only two former players from Big Brother have competed. The first was Hayden Moss, winner of Big Brother 12, who competed on Survivor: Blood vs. Water with his then-girlfriend, Kat Edorsson. The reality veteran finished the competition in 6th place. Even though Da'Vonne Rogers lost the big prize on "Big Brother: All-Stars," coming in 10th place, she was still named America's Favorite Houseguest at the conclusion of Season 22. Da'Vonne chatted with Gold Derby's Joyce Eng about whether she'd ever want to play "Bb" again and she didn't mince words, saying the competition is way too long. (Regular seasons tend to last just under 100 days.) However, there's another CBS reality TV show that catches her eye.

"What I really wanna do is 'Survivor,'" Da'Vonne confirmed. "It’s [39] days, I’ll be gone, knock that out. I’ll be Ok with that. I think that’s what I wanna do." She also seemed on board with joining a potentially future 30-day "Celebrity Big Brother" edition, proclaiming, "I'm set."

Big Brother and Survivor are very different reality shows, though they do share some similarities. They both bring people together to live, compete in challenges, and vote one another out, one by one, until a final winner is crowned.

As “Survivor: Winners at War,” the 40th season of the landmark reality competition series, continues to heat up we take a look back at all the times players were evacuated from the game for medical reasons in its first 20 years (see above). Though some players removed from the game once later returned to compete again, none of them have ever returned and won. That isn’t to say their evacuations haven’t had a long-lasting impact on the show–both Nick Wilson and Michele Fitzgerald benefited greatly from the removal of players in their path to a win. Hey, fellow Big Brother fans. Some more exciting news has come up for the Big Brother world. As we previously reported, the next season of Amazing Race which will be season 31 is bringing on a couple of former Big Brother houseguests to compete as teams. According to a report from TMZ, they're supposed to just be competing against other former Big Brother houseguests. However, the folks over at realityblurred.com said it would be a mixture of former Big Brother houseguests and former Amazing Race contestants. We're still not sure which story is true, but TMZ has recently revealed a couple of the Big Brother houseguests that will be competing. First up, former season 13 Big Brother winner Rachel Reilly is coming back. This will be her third, freaking time to compete on the Amazing Race. She recently appeared on seasons 20 and 24 with her hubby Brendon Villegas who is also a Big Brother season 12 and 13 alum.

The latest duo to join the new season of "The Amazing Race" once viciously competed against each other on "Big Brother," and now they'll be battling for $1 million. TMZ has learned ... Josh Martinez and Paul Abrahamian are teaming up for the "Big Brother" mash-up season of 'Race.' The competition on the 'Amazing Race' and "Big Brother" mash-up is gonna be fierce, because it's stocked with a lot of previous winners and fan favorites hauling ass around the world. Sources tell us James Huling, who won America's Favorite Houseguest on season 17 of "Big Brother," will be partnering with Corey Brooks, who appeared on season 18. Caleb Reynolds is a father!

The Survivor and Big Brother alum and his wife, Ashley Jay, welcomed their first child, daughter Mila Rose Reynolds, on Thursday, Reynolds' rep confirms to Et.

Mila was born at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, weighing 6 lbs., 12 oz., and measuring 19 inches.

"Ashley and I are over the moon about being able to start a family. We have been anxiously waiting for this day to come," Reynolds told Et exclusively. "And wow, she is beautiful. I never in a million years thought becoming a father would affect me the way that it has."

"This little girl has stolen my heart already, and it’s only Day 1. I can only imagine the joy she will bring us over the next several years," he added.

Darwin would not be surprised this show still hasn't been cancelled. The Survivor TV show has been renewed for a 35th season on CBS. It was a bromance for the ages -- Caleb Reynolds and Tai Trang found themselves back on the same tribe on Wednesday night's Survivor: Game Changers following the pair's dramatic separation after Reynolds' near-death heat stroke two seasons earlier on Koah Rong.

The pair's passionate reunion (symbolized by a sweet kiss on the cheek) on the new Mana tribe after an unexpected tribe swap, however, didn't last long, as Reynolds got the boot this week... after Tai voted him out.
