Born in the 84'. Film director and script writer (graduate of Script Faculty in Lodz Film School). Director of feature film 'Disco Polo', that in less then six weeks reached 890.000 box office, receiving Janusz Morgenstern award for the most promising debut. Maciek is also the author of acclaimed documentary 'One Billion Happy People' (produced for HBO). He is co-author of feature film 'The Room' that received many outstanding awards, also for the best independent film during 37th Gdynia Film Festival. 'Polish Journal' ('Dziennik Polski') chose it to be one of Top 10 films of 2012. He is also director of TV series 'Belfer' (Canal+) and "Dignoza' (TVN). His latest documentary 'Ethiopiques - The Revolt of Soul' (HBO) had it's premiere at IDFA, and since then travels all around the World. He is in a pre-production stage of the next feature called "Magnesia".
