It's hard to believe that a show called That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime can be so compelling, but as any fan will tell you, the anime series is among the most popular titles of recent years. Even though the series is now on hiatus, fans have a good reason to celebrate this summer — Crunchyroll announced that Season 3 is finally getting a Blu-ray + DVD release. The release is scheduled for July 22.
The Blu-ray/DVD edition is labeled as "part 1" of Season 3, which means that fans will need to keep an eye out for when the rest of the season gets released. It includes episodes 49 to 60 of the series. These episodes deal with the aftermath of the massive fight with the Demon Lord Clayman and the end of the war against the Kingdom of Falmuth. The episodes took the anime series into a surprisingly political context, and fans still...

Several different elements must come together to craft a fantastic anime. A wonderful story is a necessity, as are likable characters. Stellar animation is always a bonus, although anime like Mob Psycho 100 proved style isn't everything. Of course, great voice actors always have a role to play as well.
However, not all voice actors stick around for the series' entire lifetime. While the reason for not remaining for an entire series may vary, from retirement to being let go for controversial reasons, a new voice actor has to come in to replace the original. This transition can sometimes be quite jarring for fans. Yet, there are times when the new voice actor that takes over the role does so with flying colors.

Anime fans choose their own husbandos and waifus for any number of reasons, from a character's good looks and wholesome personality to their intriguing worldview or memorable dialogue. Sometimes, the best waifus and husbandos are cool and aloof, but other waifus are appealing because they're the comic relief. A delightful waifu knows how to make anime fans laugh without making a total joke of themselves.
Anime fans may be used to male himbos being the goofiest and funniest characters, but it's not just wacky boys who bring the humor. Some of the most popular waifus endear themselves to anime fans with their jokes, their pratfalls, or their silly overreactions to the wild antics around them. Some of these funny anime waifus come straight from comedy anime, while others are funny ladies in otherwise series stories to provide comic relief.

In the Attack on Titan series finale, fans have identified several allusions, comparing the otherwise monochromatic scene where a baby is swaddled in red to the "girl in red" scene in Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List and comparing Pieck (Manami Numakura) running down a Warhammer titan's spear to Chihiro (Rumi Hiiragi) running down the stairs of the bathhouse in Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away. However, one of the most impactful changes from Hajime Isayama’s manga occurs during the conversation between Eren (Yuki Kaji) and Armin's (Marina Inoue) final moments shared in the Eldian mind-space Paths.
