Gregory Fears

Gregory Fears started out as a maintenance engineer and became an actor known for such films as 2010's Inner Demons. Synopsis: Gregory "The Pebble" Fears was born into a middle class working family in 1973 in Atlanta, Georgia. Greg took drama classes in high school and quickly realized his passion for acting. However, it wasn't until Hollywood came to Atlanta that he was able to actively pursue his passion. Greg, in a short amount of time, has appeared in projects such as 2014's Million Dollar Arm, where he was hand-picked by the director and VH1's Single Ladies. During the filming of Million Dollar Arm, Greg was able to obtain mentorship from Tzi Ma, Bill Paxton and Pitobash. Early Life: Professional Actor, Gregory "The Pebble" Kenyatta Fears, was born on October 31, 1973, in Atlanta, Georgia. The son of Willie Fears and Margie Powell, the young Greg grew up in Atlanta where his father worked for Ford Motor Company and his mother worked for Georgia Power. Fears had no plans to follow either of the career paths of his parents but, at the time, to study to become an architect at Georgia Southern. He quickly changed his career goal and went to the maintenance engineering side at Chattahoochee Tech, where he worked in the industry for 16 years. The path that was chosen never overshadowed his passion for acting. The Pebble: Before Greg was able to pursue acting on a full time basis, his main goal was to do a film with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. By 2013, Greg was hand-picked by the director of Fast & The Furious 7, to be the stand-in, photo and body double for "The Rock". Greg was given high marks from the director, crew and personal staff for "The Rock" for his skills and likeness on set. This project helped Greg to quickly acquire the nickname "The Pebble". Acting Career: Outside of Maintenance Engineering, Gregory Fears has launched a successful acting career, leaving his full-time job of 16 years. He first made his appearance in the Indy Film, Inner Demons, The Thrillogy, where he played 2 different characters and later went on to film Broken Matters. Greg went on to be in shows such as Single Ladies, Resurrection, The Originals, Being Mary Jane and Complications. He has also been in movies such as Million Dollar Arm and the upcoming Ride Along 2. Greg has gone on to be in commercials such as Verizon Wireless and Popeyes Chicken. Fears has a daughter, from his first marriage. He still resides in Georgia with his wife, Michele Fears.
