Social Media Influencers Check Into a Hotel of Horrors in 'Do Not Enter' Trailer [Exclusive]
Image
Lionsgate is asking, "What would you do to go viral?" with its upcoming new horror flick, Do Not Enter. Hailing from prolific music video director Marc Klasfeld, the film centers on four social-media adventure seekers known as the Creepers, whose answer to that question is that they would break into and explore New Jersey's abandoned Paragon Hotel for a livestream. With a past tied directly to the mafia, rumors of a missing stash of $300 million, and claims of paranormal activity at the location, it seems like prime material for the group's biggest online stunt yet. As part of Collider's Exclusive Preview event for upcoming movies, we can share the official trailer, which shows that there's a heavy and terrifying price to pay for fame. Deadly rivals make their presence known, though the night takes an especially harrowing turn when supernatural creatures begin hunting them down.

4 dramas worth looking forward to on Netflix in the final half of 2025
Image
Goodness, Netflix is about to deliver the drama. Sure, the streaming giant has already brought us a bunch of drama and thrillers in the first half of 2025, but Netflix has scheduled even more for the rest of the year.

Will all the following be released? They are supposed to be. One already has a release date, but the rest do not.

They were part of the slate of series that Netflix announced would be coming out at some point this year, but the lack of firm release dates should make us nervous. Surely, Netflix would not lie to us, right? At least, these potentially great shows are arriving at some point.

4 dramas Netflix fans will not want to miss that are scheduled in the second half of 2025The Beast in Me (sometime in 2025)

The plot follows a successful author, played by Claire Danes, who has suffered a personal tragedy and removes herself from public life.

7 Canceled Teen Fantasy Shows That Still Haunt Fans Today
Image
When you purchase through our links, we may earn an affiliate commission.

If you still remember teen fantasy shows like The Vampire Diaries and Riverdale that went on for far too long, even after their stories had no steam left, but you might not remember the shows in this list, as they had so much more story to tell, but they were canceled way too soon. That’s the reason why we decided to compile a list of seven great (or underrated) teen fantasy shows that had great potential but were canceled way too soon.

Let’s start with a Netflix Original that we would have loved to see more of. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina brought us a darker telling of the story compared to the Melissa Joan Hart comedy of the ‘90s. It felt more like a witchy tale, which is needed considering the topics.

We meet Sabrina, a witch who doesn’t really want to give up her mortal life.

Outlaw Posse Review
Image
Plot: 1908. Chief (Mario Van Peebles) returns from years of hiding in Mexico to claim stolen reparations gold hidden in the hills of Montana but is chased by Angel (William Mapother), whose rationale to the gold leaves a trail of dead bodies.

Review: Mario Van Peebles is in the enviable position of being a writer, director and actor who can make the kinds of movies he wants with the people he wants. He was able to gain recognition on his own merit, outside of his father’s work, as he appeared in films like Heartbreak Ridge with Clint Eastwood, Ali with Will Smith, as well as cult classics like Gunmen which co-stars Christopher Lambert. He would work with him again in Lambert’s franchise sequel, Highlander: The Final Dimension. Plus, Van Peebles would gain acclaim as a director with the films he’s pulled double duty on — such titles as New Jack City...

‘Outlaw Posse’ Review: Mario Van Peebles’ Uneven but Diverting Mix of Blaxploitation and Spaghetti Western Tropes
Image
If Sergio Leone had ever signed on to make one of those ‘70s Blaxploitation oaters that once provided steady employment for Fred Williamson, it likely would have looked and sounded much like “Outlaw Posse,” a wildly uneven but cumulatively entertaining shoot-‘em-up that finds Mario Van Peebles doing triple duty as director, screenwriter and star. Quadruple duty, actually, if you count his credit as an executive producer.

“Outlaw Posse” has nothing to do with Van Peebles’ previous entry in this genre, 1993’s wild and woolly “Posse,” which suggests the multitasking filmmaker is tipping his Stetson to the multitude of ‘60s Spaghetti Westerns that, ahem, borrowed titles and eponymous characters from better known yet totally unrelated horse operas. But, then again, maybe not. Indeed, the film will probably be enjoyed most by folks not given to undue consideration of such trifling matters as lineage, logic and arrant anachronisms.

It’s 1908, and...

Mario Van Peebles at an event for Two Days in Paris (2007)
Interview: Mario Van Peebles on his return to the American Western genre in Outlaw Posse
Mario Van Peebles at an event for Two Days in Paris (2007)
Mario Van Peebles made a big mark on cinema following in his father’s footsteps, Melvin Van Peebles, to be a unique, prominent voice for the African-American community in cinema. He would make many appearances as an actor, including working with fellow gunslinger Clint Eastwood on Heartbreak Ridge, as the sword-wielding Kane in Highlander: The Final Dimension, and taking on the monumental task of portraying Malcolm X in the Michael Mann film, Ali. However, in 1991, New Jack City, which co-stars Ice-t, would put Van Peebles on the map as a director, and he would parlay his run with movies like Panther and the 1993 western film, Posse, in which he also starred.

Peeble returns to the Western genre in a semi-sequel to his 1993 movie that also sports an ensemble of impressive names. Outlaw Posse has Van Peebles working both in front and behind the camera again, and would even have him...

Welcome to Redville Clip Details Philosophical Crime Thriller
Image
There have been some fascinating genre mash-ups in recent years, films which seem "normal" but turn into horror, sci-fi, comedy, or any number of genres and subgenres. In fact, it seems like audiences may be growing tired of single-genre films, like straight-up dramas and strictly sci-fi films. Barbarian, Everything Everywhere All at Once, Banshees of Inisherin, Bones and All, and Triangle of Sadness were some of the best movies of 2022, and are all very hard to define in specifically singular genre terms.

Welcome to Redville is adding to that wonderful pedigree in wild fashion. A romanticized crime thriller with deep currents of dark comedy, Welcome to Redville flirts with horror and philosophy as it tells an existentialist tale of two criminals on the run who can't escape the ramifications of their actions and bad behavior. Literally.

Jake Manley and Highdee Kuan play Leo and Toni, respectively, two criminal lovers on the run from the law.

Chris Elliott Is A Sheriff Hunting Two Robbers In A Bizarre Town In Welcome To Redville Trailer [Exclusive]
Image
"Welcome to Redville" trailer reveals a supernatural twist to the crime thriller genre, reminiscent of "Twin Peaks" and "Wayward Pines." The movie keeps the central couple trapped in a mysterious loop within the town, adding a fresh take to the robbers-on-the-run story formula. Chris Elliott's appearance as the straightforward sheriff provides an interesting blend of genres, with moments of comedy and bizarre situations.

Chris Elliott is a more straightforward lawman in a very bizarre town in an exclusive Welcome to Redville trailer. Led by The Order's Jake Manley and The Brothers Sun's Highdee Kuan, the mystery-thriller revolves around two robbers who attempt to lie low in a small desert town after a botched robbery, only to find themselves in a bizarre situation with the local residents and a promising final heist. Alongside Manley, Kuan and Elliott, the movie stars Deadpool's Isaac C. Singleton Jr., Moxie's Sabrina Haskett,...
