Cassidy, a former teen heartthrob widely known for his starring role as Keith Partridge on the 1970s series The Partridge Family, died from organ failure Nov. 21 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was 67.

In February 2017, Cassidy exclusively revealed to People that he was battling dementia.

“I was saddened to hear of the passing of my ‘brother’ David Cassidy — it’s hard to imagine, really,” Partridge Family star Forster tells People in a statement.

Cassidy died of organ failure Tuesday at the age of 67.

The former Partridge Family star has died, Et confirms. He was 67. 

"On behalf of the entire Cassidy family, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, our uncle, and our dear brother, David Cassidy. David died surrounded by those he loved, with joy in his heart and free from the pain that had gripped him for so long," Cassidy's rep told Et in a statement from the family. "Thank you for the abundance and support you have shown him these many years."

Cassidy's rep tells Et that he will be cremated, and a private memorial is being scheduled for close family and friends in Los Angeles. A public memorial for a later time is being considered. 

Cassidy was rushed to a Florida hospital on Wednesday, his rep confirmed to Et on Saturday. "His organs are failing," the rep revealed, adding that he was "surrounded by family."

Dave Madden, who played agent Reuben Kinkaid on The Partridge Family, died on Thursday after a long illness. He was 82.

Madden's death was confirmed by his niece, who said he passed away at a hospice near his Jacksonville area home, according to The New York Daily News.

So, with the minimal amount of research that kept me interested enough to avoid other responsibilities, I decided to go back and do this 2nd row group of famous non-bands.
