This weekend is going to be so killer, dude! The poster for Jamielyn Lippman's Killer Weekend, produced by Blanc-Biehn Productions, has arrived. Killer Weekend Release Details and Poster: "Blanc-Biehn, the production company by famed actors Michael Biehn and Jennifer Blanc-Biehn just released the poster for their new film, Killer Weekend, directed by Jamielyn Lippman (3 Years in Pakistan: The Erik Aude Story; When the Bough Breaks). The film will be released this fall.

The film stars Andy Davoli Vanessa Zima, Alex Urbom, Michael Biehn and features Jennifer Blanc.

Fantaspoa 2019 Announces Second Wave of Films, Roger Corman to Attend: "Brazil's Fantaspoa, the largest genre film festival in Latin America, is proud to reveal the second wave of films selected for their upcoming fifteenth edition, running from May 16th through June 2nd. The celebrated genre film fest, which takes place annually in Porto Alegre will announce their full line-up, consisting of more than 100 films, on the first week of May.

Dead Teenager Seance, the horror comedy short film from Dante Vescio and Rodrigo Gasparini is making the festival rounds, playing in Brussels this week(ish). Yesterday they released the trailer for it, which you will find below.    A group of dead teenagers spending their after-lives in Limbo decides to wreak vengeance upon their killer by summoning him to the world of the dead.   Bronze Skull winner at Morbio and Best National Short Film winner at Phenomena, DTS is a delightfully dry slahser comedy. Though the story in the short film is self-contained it can be expanded into a feature length story, one which Dante shared with me while we were at Morbido. Brazilian filmmakers Dante Vescio and Rodrigo Gasparini have been on our radar for a few years now. Their short film M is for Mailbox made an impression during the competition section for the first ABCs of Death anthology. They followed that up the following year with their debut feature film O Diabo Mora Aqui (The Devil Lives Here), then a couple more shorts, horror short Blondie and a sci fi entry Children of the Cosmos for a short film comeptition hosted by Nasa.     The duo recently shot a new horror comedy short film, Dead Teenager Seance, and are halfway through post. Dante Vescio and Rodrigo Gasparini, the directing duo behind Brazilian horror flick O Diabo Mora Aqui and other short films, took a time out from horror to direct a short science fiction film and enter it into Nasa's CineSpace short film competition.    Together with their regular writer Rafael Baliú they made Children of the Cosmos. The short reflects on the wonders of the Universe and the cosmos, with a surprise ending. You just have to watch for yourself.   The Cosmos. Mankind. The meaning of Life. Brazilian directors Rodrigo Gasparini and Dante Vescio first came to our attention with their ABCs of Death 2 contest entry M Is For Mailbox (embedded below). The duo recently wrapped up their debut feature length horror film titled The Fostering (O Diabo Mora Aqui), which will have its world premiere in October at the Sitges Film Festival. While we still have yet to see a trailer, a brief synopsis, and a stunning poster (seen above) has been revealed which you can find below. Twitch describes the film as the first volley in a much larger project titled Urbania from producer / creator M.M. Izidoro, a project which will dive deep into Brazil’s urban legends in a format that will span both film and television.

Synopsis: Three teenagers visit a friend on his old farm house for a fun weekend. What they didn’t expect was to be stuck in the middle...
