Like most sci-fi thriller films, Max’s Caddo Lake doesn’t care to explain how the time-traveling swamp in the film works. The characters passing through the liminal space randomly end up in different timelines, which inevitably messes up their lives. The film centers around two characters, Paris Lang, and his daughter, Ellie, who are [Spoiler Alert] current in two different timelines, i.e., 2003 and 2022 respectively. Most of the events of the film take place on 26th September, the day both Anna Bennett and Paris Lang disappeared from their respective timelines. In the 2022 timeline, Ellie embarks on a journey to find her sister and goes to and fro through different timelines, only to realize that bringing Anna back would not only erase her father’s existence but also her own. So, without any further ado, let’s do a chronological breakdown of the narrative of Caddo Lake, so as to simplify the events for you.

In the Outer Range, a time-traveling hole suddenly appears on Royal Abbott’s ranch, and no one really knows where it came from or how it really functions. The best explanation that we found out about this “black pit” (before the show was canceled) was that it takes people to different time periods, thereby messing up the timelines. [Spoiler Alert] In a nutshell, that’s the whole story of Caddo Lake. Instead of a hole, we get a swamp through which people accidentally walk into different timelines. In Caddo Lake’s ending, the main protagonist, Ellie Lang, makes peace with the fact that the swamp on the Found Herd Creek was one of the unexplainable mysteries of nature, and the best a man could do is not toy with it. At the Monarto Zoo, you’re the one in the cage.

The Australian animal park recently opened a new feature called Lions 360, a cage inside the big cat’s enclosure that puts you just a claw’s length away from the majestic meowers.

“It’s a truly hair-raising experience with visitors able to enter the cage and get closer than ever before to our amazing lions,” Zoos Sa (which operates Monarto Zoo) chief executive Elaine Bensted told ABC News.
